Saya minat corolla cross sebab brand toyota.. tapi saya dah test, ok!! cuma saya tak puas hati dari segi saiz dan features . Then saya ke proton dan test drive.
Juga review pasal kereta x70 dalam group FB, akhirnya membuat keputusan untul membeli x70.
Mudahan2 ada rezki saya. Kereta ni elok2 sahaja. Beli kereta kedua selepas saga saya hampir 10 tahun
toyota for sure..dlm family kami semua toyota ..fortuner/vios/pajero/vios/altis/yaris..dan saya sendiri toyota corrola dx 1983 tak menghampakan

As a x70 user for 2 years, I dont regret my choice. After sales service by proton dekat sabah ni pun mantap. Spare part murah. My only problem in sabah is to find tyres because selalu takda stok saiz yg diingini. Bawa naik bukit kundasang dan keningau engine running smooth engine vibration almost none. X70 sangat banyak features yang sy pun sehingga sekarang tak habis explore. Lagi best ada aircond dekat seat. Seat belakang sangat luas dan selesa. Kawan yang bawa toyota pun puji bila naik kereta diorang cakap comfortable sangat2. So saya sarankan korang test drive dulu dan buat keputusan.
Baru-baru ni dah test drive CRV, Tiguan Life & 3008. Waktu tu, 3008 di tangga teratas pilihan sy lah sbb ride + handling best & ada panoramic sunroof. Pastu lepas test drive X70, sy tertanya-tanya kenapa perlu bayar RM166000+ utk 3008... hmmm... sbb X70 Premium ni pun ride bagus & ada panoramic sunroof, enjin 1.8T pun lebih power, hutang 4 tahun je dah settle. Cuma x special lah sbb model paling lazim di jalanraya.
Setelah hampir 5 tahun, X70 dah cukup masa utk serious facelift selain tempek enjin 1.5.
payah proton ni tk jaga after sales, part lembab, kesian pembeli2 proton…bnyk problem rosak itu ini..so antara 2 model ni highly pilih toyota

x70 memang cantik & moden..tapi keyakinan saya lebih kepada corolla cross. toyota terkenal dengan reliability, comfort dan after sale servis yang mantap ( daerah saya). Sekarang pun tengah usaha mau ambik corolla cross :D

Dari segi kekuatan engine dan aksesories, menang lagi Proton X70. Tetapi dari segi RPM menang Toyota, sangat menjimatkan penggunaan bahan api. Saya juga pengguna SUV tetapi bukan dari dua2 jenama ini. Jika saya diberi pilihan tentulah Toyota Cross atas alasan jenama dan bentuk lebih simple. Apa pun keupayaan X70 untuk meluncur ke depan dan naik bukit tidak boleh dipandang remeh. Saya kagum dengan X70

Base on comparison of the specifications and price, Proton X70 is a better choice . Warranty and service maintenance are also a thing to consider. For reliability and durability Toyota is my choice.
So many serious issues with the x70
So far proton offers best bang for buck. Really attractive, However for long term, the aftersale, QC, parts availability and reliability are the real deal breaker. At least for me.
Too bad Fanboys wouldn’t agree until they stuck in the SC for minor issues.
@@minc3 yes they put everything they can as features, some are gimmicks and not focus on the quality and reliability. look at the x70 facebook group, yesterday alone, see how they are revolting for gearbox and overheating issues

Will vote for X70, Toyota Cross design and feature is outdated.
Maintenance cost? fuel consumption? Resale value? Spareparts availability? But anyways, proton is getting there.. Slowly but surely.

I have both Altis & CROSS, prefer CROSS with higher viewing angle. Steady and smooth. Extremely low maintenance and a considerably practical car ever!

I will highly recommend Toyota cross because reliable, no headache. You can see Toyota car able to pass one generation to another generation. Sorry to speak, Proton hardly see pass one generation to another generation. Toyota car when you drive for many year, the more you drive, the trust getting there because without any issue, especially the suspension. One think want to highlight, although Toyota didn't give lots of gadget, so long they provide basic needs, zero problem, less fuel consumption, good suspension than good enough. If the cars provide lots of gadget, remember there is a shelf life
Will go for toyota. My 2007 innova still starts every morning, fairly cheap and easy to find parts.

X70 is a good car and comes with many features as compare with Toyota Cross. However I am more concern about reliability of X70 because it built with many sensors detector and complex control system. SMT components also easy to fail now days and not not like those days Through-Hole Technology.
I'm an owner of X70.. Owned it then talk about it.. X70 far more better then Cross..

Wrong information about Proton Link apps, all X70 variant can access Proton Link Apps. For X50, flagship variant only available using proton link apps.

The 1.8V in the video is not. There is hybrid variant more expensive than the V. In Malaysia seems Toyota Hybrid cara can fetch good residue value/second hand value in the used car market and the new car price difference for both isn’t much.

Potong never come close. If you have problem with parts will need ETA 6 months for no reason even the car is CKD
First few batches of X70 and X50 had that harsh rough engine vibrations. They said it is normal but it was not.. coverup story that injectors had problems and overheat complains throughout the owners
Just make a trip to Potong service HQ where they service their problematic X70 and X50 there. My sister sold her X70 last year because of problems and it still sit right there with the same number plate
