I’m impressed you try cooking at all! Most people would just eat ready meals or eat out. I made beef and broccoli in my InstaPot once and messed up the amount of rice wine I put in. We ate it but it tasted all wrong. It can take practice to get Asian cuisine right. Now I have a wok and with practice, it’s a little easier. Our new thing we’re practicing is Pho. One way to tenderize the meat is to velvety it. Add cornstarch, soy sauce, and baking soda. Then let sit for 30 minutes. Tender, flavorful meat every time! It’s worth doing. Beautiful river! Scary rocks! Safe travels!
It definitely gets tempting just to eat out haha and I do occasionally but I think I'm going to start meal prepping for the week to save time and money. I've made pho once before in an old video and although it wasn't as good as what you might get in a restaurant it was still pretty darn good! I'm sure you'll perfect your pho recipe in no time!
Best way to reheat pizza is on the stove put a piece of pizza in a pan then just a little water and put a lid on to steam and keep in the heat. It will recrisp the bottom and make it almost as good as just made. Best tip someone ever gave me.
We've all been there when we try to cook a recipe, and it just doesn't come out right. You just gotta say, "Well, I don't know what I cooked, but if it doesn't kill me. I guess it's okay ." 😂🤣 Sending loving healing prayers.
I love the fact that you’re now in my old stomping grounds in Wisconsin. There is 2 spots that you can jump from on the Wisconsin side. We used to jump there when I was a kid. There is a 25’ and a 50’ spot. There used to be a 100’ but it was closed because of too many injuries.
I love seeing people cooking in vans. I'm cracking up a bit listening to you saying that it doesn't quite look like the picture after saying you subbed the meat, the noodles, the beans, the oil for other things.. So pretty much everything that shows :P
yes! I learned this last time I bought some. It's in the fridge now but luckily it's cold weather season so the van stays pretty cool inside all the time
Keep cooking! Practice makes perfect. Chives are smaller than green onions. Also bottom round is pretty lean and more used in roasts/slow cooking. Sirloin is an okay substitute for flank steak.
Another beautiful video my friend great work love the feel of your video also hope your not getting to sick and feel better ill be waiting for the next upload man live the nomadic dream
A for effort! Learning to cook is a trial and error process for sure. If I had a dollar for every meal I’ve cooked that turned out less tasty than I’d hoped…. Thanks daniel
I've hiked Taylor's Falls quite a few times. Fun to see you there. As for the meal (😊), it was quite a bit of work, and you've probably learned a lot from the comments. I remember my mom, who was a teacher, telling me a lot about FDR's CCC. 🥰 Interesting.
I do like learning new things and found the info about the CCC on the signs to be quite interesting, especially considering how many people were able to make a living doing it
Thank you, I am feeling better at this point since this video was filmed almost 3 weeks ago. I've never tried the white parts of green onions before but I'll have to give it a try!
yeah see that's what the recipe said too but I couldn't find the soft noodles at the Asian Market for the life of me. I even tried asking the people that worked there.
Noodles would have been better and softer sitting in hot water for 15 mins or so ... then drain them before cooking. Your end result of Beef Chow Fun looks yummy!
@@danielsbegg it was meant as improvement options not corrections cooking is not a science with right or wrong with but an art always up for intreptaion and no two meals are the same.
Hey daniel, the song says: She went out partying and nothing mattered to her because her boyfriend was already looking for her...😅😅 i love your videos💪💪
Be careful Daniel, climbing around on those slippery rocks all alone, if you fell and broke a leg, no one would know you were there

You dancing and cooking to that music was hilarious. Do it again😂😂😂😂❤❤
New subscriber. I'm here for your very soothing voice. I pray you feel better soon!
Thank you! Glad you like the videos 😁
The face at 19:39 😂 💀 been there. Great video still. Love seeing your adventures
Haha yeah you can’t win ‘em all especially when you’re a very amateur cook😅 glad you like the videos though! :)

Thank you! 😊
Very enjoyable! Loved the cooking segment, and the “hikes” along with the film of natural areas/beauty was very good! I’ve subscribed!
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more :)

well that makes me feel a little better haha glad I'm not the only one 😂 thank you :)
@danielsbegg Anytime, I hope you are feeling better from your cold you were catching.
great video I can't wait to see all the van life adventers you have planned.
can't wait to go on those adventures and share them with you guys!
What a beautiful place to camp.
(Hope you’re feeling better.)

that sounds like it would be a lot of fun in the summer!
Such beautiful scenery there! My stomach did a few flip flops when you were climbing on those rocks.
Hope you’re feeling better. See ya next time🙂
It really was a nice area! I would suggest anyone who drives through to at least stop and take a look!

hahaha 😂 I know I changed out half the ingredients and then I'm surprised it didn't turn out right
Wow that scenery is beautiful!!! Loved the video! (BTW… might want to store that sesame oil in the fridge. Sesame goes rancid quickly)

thank you. It wasn't too bad and I'm better now so should have another video out next week on Friday!
A for effort! Learning to cook is a trial and error process for sure. If I had a dollar for every meal I’ve cooked that turned out less tasty than I’d hoped…. Thanks daniel
Thanks! 😊 With more practice and probably lots of trial and error I'll surely progress.

Damn this is a cool and comfortable van 🤠😎
I love ur content, n u have such a PLEASANT VOICE. THANKS 4 UPLOAD❤
I appreciate it!
Nice video. I hope you didn't get too sick.
If you like onions, you can use the white part too, until you almost reach the roots. 👍
Thank you, I am feeling better at this point since this video was filmed almost 3 weeks ago. I've never tried the white parts of green onions before but I'll have to give it a try!
@danielsbegg Please let me know if you like it!
By the way, all the times that you decided not to measure might possibly have affected the taste.
Owh.. I like your Van 😍
bro keep cooking. i used to make trash food all the time but years of experience and now i never do. gg
I'll keep working on it! Eventually I'll get the hang of it but can't get better unless I practice and fail sometimes 😅
Oh yeah!!
Those are pho noodles which you’re supposed to blanch first. The correct noodles are already soft and have a different texture. 👌🏼
yeah see that's what the recipe said too but I couldn't find the soft noodles at the Asian Market for the life of me. I even tried asking the people that worked there.
It's fun to make beef chow 😋 🐮 🍴
very good and very easy!
Hiking in chucks! Nice
Yessir! 🤙🏽
And we're back with a other video with Daniel ❤
Cool channel 👍

I will have to try that next time!
the food didn't look to bad but a little bullion powder and put a little bit of water with the noodles getting more tender
I'll have to try making it again with all of the correct ingredients
@@danielsbegg it was meant as improvement options not corrections cooking is not a science with right or wrong with but an art always up for intreptaion and no two meals are the same.
Hello. Hope you have a great THANKSGIVING 😊
thank you, Hope yours is great as well :)
@danielsbegg Thank U😎
Spray olive oil on a pan, put cheese side down for about 30 seconds flip it once and boom. Pizza without a microave
good idea!
My very favorite Chinese dish…wrong noodles.
I did not do it justice :'(
The leftovers may taste better tomorrow. Bravo for trying.
it wasn't inedible lol so I did end up eating the leftovers for another meal and it was okay :)
The noodles should be soaked in clean water first before cooking it to soften the texture of the noodles.
I should have done more research into the dish prior to cooking it but we'll try similar dishes sometime in the future and do it right! 👍
so wonderful beautiful video my best friend i love it see so nice Daniel❤❤❤❤
Hey daniel, the song says: She went out partying and nothing mattered to her because her boyfriend was already looking for her...😅😅 i love your videos💪💪
Gracias por la traducción. Todavía estoy aprendiendo español!
👍
Stop climbing those rocks! You freak me out.
That's what I keep telling him. He should wear his hiking boots too.
I’d clean that can top before drinking, especially after having raw meat sitting on top. Cross contamination is a thing.
did I have raw meat on top of a soda can? I don't remember doing that but I'm not dead yet lol thanks for looking out though 🫡 😄
giggity
crazy💀
Hi Daniel.
Hello 👋
Why don’t you have a microwave!? Been slacking on your videos.. keep it up!
I left it at home but will be taking it with me when I leave permanently
New subscriber hello
Hello thanks for subscribing! 🤗
@ can’t believe he slept threw that rain storm
Pretty dangerous rock climbing you are doing ..
Yep, cooked it wrong. ingredients are everything! Nice try though 👍🏻👍🏻
I think I'll be sticking with easier recipes for a little bit 😂
@danielsbegg you gave it a try, you're way ahead than of many of us!
You're good execpt you need to put a lit bit of water to soften the noodle and let it simmer. You ginna love it.next time add on oyster sauce.
bro you need to work out lmao
Try cooking off video first before putting it on a video
