Mr. Redmond, something that would help me a lot is a video about evaluating how large (in points) various mid-game and end-game points actually. Just in case you're looking for ideas for content :)
Around 8:35, white plays move 13 at M15. Shouldn't black cover the cut at L16? Or is that just too small? This is coming from me as a 11k, so it could be that I'm just thinking too small there.
Good question. Maybe it has some to do with knowing when to attack and when to go build Moyo? Knowing and sensing future moves of your opponent is another factor to consider perhaps? Thank you for giving me a lesson from your question. ✍️ ☯️ ✌️ 🎶 Go
8:53 Is black not worried about white taking the three stones at m17? With L16 cut? I guess it allows black to continue building wall, or take bigger points?
No one talks about endgame on TH-cam! Like what to look for and how to decide on moves. Everyone just says it’s based on reading and counting points. But lower level players don’t have the luxury to count everything on the board, we need to know what to focus on. And no one (in English) talks about it. The best English youtubers are not very good at endgame. Can you do a series on that??
I am planning a video about the ways we can calculate the size of a move, so thats coming up in a few weeks maybe. With unfinished positions, we actually need a logical system to be able to count. Some of the Tesuji problem videos will have to do with endgame positions. If I make any video lessons on the endgame they will be linked to the endgame playlist.
Michael is doing a great work with these videos. Please support his Patreon.
This channel is so good that I find myself clicking "like" even before watching video :D

There are quite a few Go TH-camrs, and you compliment them all quite well. Succinct, informative, and you leave nothing to our assumptions.
You're doing an awesome job at youtube, thank you for the regular great content!
Cool. I knew most of this, but not the new AI bits. Good to refresh and update! Thanks!
Thank you for taking your time to make these videos Mr. Redmond, very much appreciated!
This is definitely the type of video I need, thanks for the insight!
Great work, very useful and clear explantions ^^
