Who's your sleeper to end up making the roster?
I did not know anything about E.J. Jenkins. So I watched everything I could find. I think he has a chance to make the roster and actually could turn out to be quite a good TE. The guy looks like a highly skilled and hard working bad ass to me. He's just got to nail down the nuances of a new position.
I don’t know why you so high on Eli ricks when he did not play good during season when it matters.. I’m not talking preseason.. I’m talking regular season and on top of that he is not a nickel back. He is best on the outside there’s 4 players a head of him on the outside. So he will be cut or put on practice squad!!!

Man I really liked covey and I really think that he was pretty consistent throughout the year and took a pretty significant step forward from his previous year. If anyone was consistent it was him and elliot
Yea but his a decent one trick pony!! Because he is no wide receiver and I’d rather have someone who can return just as good as him if not better and still be a good threat as a wide receiver 3 or 4
If they cut Bradberry, they won't have a single CB on this team under 31 who has played a full season in the NFL. Also, I can't imagine they run with only 3 safeties, especially when one of them is coming off an ACL tear late last season.

Dejean is also gonna be used at safety I feel .
Teams were targeting Bradberry every play last year- he's washed and it happened fast (after the Buffalo game) but unfortunately the out in his contract isn't until 2025 so he's here

we’ve literally seen Bradberry “veteran” experience vs Tampa this year……even if the DC who was ass at the time bro still couldn’t tackle and looked like he didn’t want to be out there . We got fresh young guys that wanna go out there and compete + our DB depth chart this year is deep we really don’t need him

I actually wonder if jalyx hunt might be moved to linebacker. We dont have any big guys there, and he used to play safety. He has the size and ability to go into that coverage position, and with the past 2 years being an edge he has alot of practice getting downfield. I like him as a mlb
I think eli rick WILL make the roster same with shon stephens. Im not so sure about the rest of the guys. My best bet is isaiah rodgers will take the last cb spot because of his versatility. Also i think he will continue his very strong seasons before his suspension

@@brendancurtin679 bradberrys gone. Its written in stone. And Maddox is good, but very injury prone. There will be many hard choices but i think that rodgers will replace maddox in the slot

Milton Williams was my sleeper pick last year, so I’m staying with him to have a breakout season this year. I feel like he just keeps getting better.

These are the most talented on the roster I believe. Ik ppl hate that Maddox cant stay healthy but he was great beside last year for us when healthy. Hopefully he can put it all together this year. DT: You can't can't have 5 guys to play 3 positions. Jordan Davis can't be the only NT on this roster expecting him to play 100% of the snaps.

With new kickoff and all the return talent we have now Covey is a complete waste of a roster spot. I’d rather have Wilson and I wasn’t even crazy high on the guy. But his potential and upside far outweighs what covey can give.

Slay, Mitchell, DeJean, Rodgers, Ringo, Maddox & Stephens are the guys I see making. Along with Ricks being assigned to the practice squad. I see Covey on the practice squad as well. He is a good returner but that’s it. A few of his returns would have been TDs by a more explosive guy in my opinion.
I think there's a number of sleepers but I have strong belief that EJ Jenkins is beating out Calcaterra! I'm mainly hoping Andre Sam and Brandon Smith make the 53 too.

Those are the six I see making the team. There’s plenty of ways for them to be utilized in receiving,rushing and returning. Mix it up and throw off defenses. Ainias has a college Percy harvin type skill set that can make some defenders get lost and confused, and in regards to special teams, one handles KR , the other PR. It ain’t rocket science
I literally made the same depth chart earlier. I think they know for the most part who’s gonna be on that 53. Ricks, Johnny Wilson & Covey are gonna be tough picks. I like Campbell over Covey. I also think Milton has more than earned his keep.

Cutting Eli Ricks just because we have depth right now is a needless move. He has every reason to remain faithful to us so I would keep him just in case somebody else walks in the coming years.

Maybe someone could explain to me when covey didnt okay well at WR? I only saw him to out there when the game was pretty much over but when he was out there. Jalen found him and he was finding holes in the coverage.
Granted this might be due to the defense bot playing as hard since the game was done. Any time i saw him out there i felt like he found ways to get open. I do think philly needs to give him a real shot.
Paris Campbell is the 3rd best WR on this roster. There is now at Johnny Wilson beats him for a roster spot. I could see Smith earning the starting spot but getting rid of Campbell makes no sense.

I like your prediction except the CBs. Instead of maddox Hall, Stephens, McPhearson, Bradberry or the random guy from the street who just passed by is a better option than trash maddox. So my group would be look like this: Mitchell, DeJean, Slay, Rodgers, Hall, Stephens, Ricks (+2 is Ringo and McPhearson), but I think Bradberry with coaches who have brains could play '22 form so after the devastating last season maybe he will again good and Howie won't trade him for a plate of lences...
WR group: I don't see Covey in the team now. I mean he was a punt returner and only a few snaps he played as WR so now that the Eagles have Campbell, Smith or DeJean who can play as punt returner maybe he will sign on PS and if somebody will hurt than he'll come. So instead of him maybe Wilson or Watkins will play (rather Wilson to get some NFL experience like McKee should have last season but the mongoloid and dishonest brian johnson played nogood Mariotta instead of him in an already lost game - and his first pass as an Eagle was a nice INT).
TE group: I really like Calcaterra but I don't see him in the team as well if there will be only 3 TEs. Maybe with actual coach Albert O will prove himself or Castle will be a big surprise (he is my sleeper)
QB group: I think McKee is better than KP so I'd played him as 2nd QB.
RBs: I like KG but beside Barkley and Shipley I'd rather try out Kendall Milton my second sleeper. If he'll be amazing, than the 4 RBs is real and they all can stay.
LBs: I'd pick only 4 of them so there can be 4 RBs but if they are 5 than instead of VanSumeren I'd pick Burks...
The HUGE problem I had with covey was when he wasn’t making a good return, he was fair catching the ball inside the 10 yard line wayyyy to often it was happening almost every week I don’t understand why they kept putting him back there
I agree .. he’s solid and sure handed and has shown good speed but you know, I never feel like he’s going to break one …
I think teams would rather take the near certainty of having the ball outside of the five yard line than take a chance of getting pinned inside the 2, which has a very very high likelihood of a 3 and out (not to mention higher risk of safety or defensive TD) and great field position for the opposing team after punting from their own end zone.
In other words, the benefit of starting at the 8, for example, instead of the 1 is actually bigger than the benefit of starting at the 25 instead of the 8, even tho the yardage difference is higher for the latter, just because getting pinned down by the goal line is so bad.

I been saying Milton Williams is being slept in watching him in limited snaps last year he was dominant every time he was on the field I gaurntee he's goons be the biggest surprise of the season I think he'll get 6-8 sacks and a lot of tackles for loss noew that fletch ain't there I'm telling you he's probably gonna have a better season then Davis unless Davis is locked in and stays in shape like when he started the season last year

I think covey may be gone this year. In the new return format, I think they use Campbell and ainais in that same role
covey is solid but we can definitely improve, he is not explosive, or a threat to go the distance, not one punt did I think he might take it to the house.
I didn't understand why they traded for Pickett instead of Fields. Fields skill set is close to Hurts where as Picketts is not. But after hearing how Fields had no interest in listening to help from Foles as Super Bowl MVP who is tied for the most TDs in a game in NFL history, screw Fields. Foles may have not been the world's greatest long term starter but he definitely has wisdom to impart and any young QB who thinks they are better than that has no place on the Eagles roster.
I know it is an unpopular opinion, but I think Bradberry stays for his experience and locker room/CB room presence and leadership. He may even start early in the season and get younger players.worked in to gain game experience. Once the younger guys show out, Bradberry gets replaced and maybe released.
Josh Jobe can go, and it pains me to say that as a Tide fan. He was a liability in coverage even in college. Still love him though and hope he makes it work, even if it's not here.

I’m loving the competition I’m seeing so far with the players. I know it’s not a popular opinion but I think Bradberry will bounce back to his 2022 form.
Bradberry will not return to 2022 form. Before the draft and all these signings, I thought he’d still be on the team and would be better than 2023. I think the bad coaching and scheming played a role in his drop off along with age. I think he’ll play for another team this season, and I think he’ll be better than 2023 but not quite 2022.
Vic Fangio has been here a little while now and Howie is loading up the DB room. I don’t think they do it to that extent if they thought Bradberry was going to get many snaps this season.
Also, Bradberry probably wasn’t as good in 22 as it seemed as he benefitted from a really good D line and the eagles offense getting big leads early, making opposing offenses more predictable. We also had a cupcake schedule in 22 on top of other teams not realizing how good we’d be followed by a brutal 23 schedule with a target on our backs.
@@brendancurtin679 with all of that said quantity doesn’t equal quality. Outside of the obvious three (Slay, Mitchell, & Dejean) the other spots are up for grabs. Ringo, Maddox, Ricks, Rodgers, Hall, Bradberry, Goodrich, Jobe, McPhearson, & Stephens all have something to prove. It should be an interesting training camp.

Bradberry was an all pro two years ago and then was one of the worst corners in the league last year. I think they let him play this year to see who the real Bradberry is. I don’t see him getting cut or traded this year.

Ricks was an UDFA and was the first player backup player to get PT. He’s under contract for 3 more years. No chance he’ll get cut sorry
