    This was the best video describing all the details on the GMC Terrain SLT. Well done!

    Spare tires are a plus especially in a town like Austin TX with all the construction; bolts, nails, staple, I've picked them all up around here;36 flat tires I'm the past 2 years.

    Wonderful review - would have loved to hear your thoughts in a test drive of this vehicle but maybe you don't do test drives - everything well explained - Cheers from Canada 🍁

      Hey Marnelle, I appreciate your kind words! I do these videos to give potential customers who are considering a NEW GM Vehicle a full overview of the features and I talk about what's great about them and some big advantages they have over some similar competitors.
      As a manager for a GM Store here in Alberta I think me driving the vehicle and saying they are GREAT might make people think these videos are now a SALES pitch, that's not what I want.
      You'll often hear me say in my videos that if your considering a NEW SUV you need to drive this Terrain, or Equinox or Yukon or Acadia etc.

      @@WesternGMDrumheller Yes, hard to get your message across in a video - with so many new vehicles on the market, it's hard to decide - I do still love a stick shift, as I am 90% of the time a one handed driver, with my other hand on the stick - those push buttons to shift gears are an adjustment for sure - you have yourself a Great Day - Greetings from Toronto 😊

    It was a HUGE mistake by GMC getting rid of the 2.0L engine. Considering you have other car manufacturers which are providing 2 or more engine choices. I figure if Nissan can take a gamble with the Rogue and put a 3cyl turbo and squeeze 200hp & 225lbs torque out of it. What's GMC's excuse for not keeping the 2.0...? They went from segment leaders with that 252hp & 260lbs torque. To WAY BELOW currently. Either bring it back GMC or up the 1.5L too more respectable numbers. And by that i don't mean adding 5hp for 2023 models. It needs at least 190hp & 220lbs torque. That's not too much to ask for now is it...?

    For the gear shifter, are you able to push them instead of pulling them? My wife gets her nails done and would be a must to push instead of pulling the gear shifter so she doesn’t break a nail

    I’m still thinking about it 😫 I lost my 3yr old Terrain in an accident and was total. I don’t like the bottoms, may as well do a test drive. Cus I need an SUV

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry you were in an accident, as for the Terrain it has had many improvements and upgrades since it was re-designed in 2018 so if you get a 2022 your getting a nice upgrade from the previous generation.

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nearly same look yes and still no 2.0L Turbo but the 1.6L Turbo gets up and goes really well in town and on the highway. As for power it has equal or better power than others in this category.

    The gmc terrain 2013 slt v6 my vehicle would smoke the 2022 version like what's the point underpowered gmc I'll stick with the more powered version

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the V6 is a powerful engine in the Compact SUV category. But the 1.6L Turbo isn't a slouch in this new platform that's lighter and more agile than your 2013. But your V6 would win in a drag, lol.

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry you feel the terrain is under powered. Car and Driver and MotorTrend both say that the 1.5L Turbo from GM has more usable power and is much smoother than both Honda CRV and Rav4 in this vehicle class.

    no ventilated seats, WOW unbelievable! I like this vehicle but why oh why can't they put ventilated seats in these cars. Hyundai and Kia are now doing it and even putting in there back seats as well and GM refused to do it. They are so stubborn on this one feature. I live in the south and I don't think that you should have to buy the top of the line to get ventilated seats! good grief!

      Frank Frank how's it going? Quick question when you go to a ball game do you get a frank or a Nathan's Hot Dog? Anyways the BIG Car companies of the world GM, TOYOTA and FORD don't put all of those features in for various reasons but its got a lot to do with a bean counter somewhere. Kia/Hyundai can't build a reliable engine and they have been in North America for 20years now. So you can have your cooled rear seat but you won't get the resell or longevity out of your engine like you will out of a similar Ford, Toyota or GM SUV.

      @@WesternGMDrumheller You are right 👍❤️ and I am a loyal GM buyer that's why I have kept my 2010 Cadillac Escalade! I would like to have a newer model but I can't afford what I would like to have so this thing is still beautiful and I still love it, I love my cooled/heated seats, heated steering wheel and all the extras that I have on this 2010 and I still have less than 100k miles. life is good and when I can, I will probably go back to the Tahoe which I love 💕😘

    Water does accumulate around the oraface of the capless tank pipe which raises concerns bc it gets through the ( unsecured) lil door and fkheads can steal yr gas. In this day in age your personal property should be protected!!?
