DIY Steering Wheel Cover (East Detailing Kit) WRX

What's up guys, in this video I'm upgrading my old steering wheel into a much nicer looking and feeling version using a kit from East Detailing! It's the steering wheel, but with this kit, you can get the look of a new steering wheel for hundreds less! Just needs a little DIY work and some patience.

I’ve just finished one of these on my MX5, definitely worth doing. As you say, just put aside a bit of time to do it! I was lucky as I had a spare standard wheel so I could sit in my house and do it 😊

I want to get this for my Tacoma bc it’s one of the few options you can get with the center stripe but man their comments are terrible about people not getting the product

Thanks for the vid, I just ordered one and was curious about the threading. Do you think if you're patient enough you can skip the 3m stickers?

Honestly, I wouldn't skip it. I know with mine it kinda messed up part of my leather on my actual steering wheel, but it seems important in that it makes sure the cover doesn't move over time.

Holy moly! Well, I am happy to report that mine is still holding up well! For the cost of it, I'd say definitely at least give it a try before spending that kind of money!

Its actually holding up really well! It has not come loose and the material still looks good. I work with my hands, so they get pretty dirty, and I was worried that would ruin it, but its actually still looking really good!
