- Easy is one of their most difficult choreos - LALALALA is the most tiring, even Lee Know (who is THE pro dancer of the group) says it's a marathon - Domino is one of my favourite for all the ripple effects. It does not habe a full MV, sadly, only a djort version as teaser but worth the watch. Some of their most impressive choreos I think are District 9 and Victory Song. One of my personal favourites, aside from Domino, is Scars. There's a dance performance video in an all white background, that is truly beautiful. (There's also an MV)
LK actually insists that they rest so they don't risk injuries. When they first debuted they said it took 2-3 days to nail the choreography but in a recent interview they said it takes 2-3 hours now. That's the formations and the movements.
8:58 funny bc Felix actually did taekwondo for 12 years and he has 63 medals in taekwondo, and he is a level three black belt so he always gets the crazy kicks or jumps and stuff.
The reason why Easy and Domino keep popping up is because they are actually one of the harder choreos in their entire discography. Another one is probably Hellevator and it was choreographed by their dance leader Lee Know himself. It was their first choreography as a group too. Easy's difficulty isn't immediately obvious, because it doesn't look intense and stamina-draining. It's chill, it looks "easy", but after a couple of dancer analysis/commentary videos, the consensus is that it's a very tricky song that requires nice groove and great attention to detail. This is why a lot of Stays call it "Lee Know's song" because this dance brings out the "pro dancer" in him. Man makes it look "easy" too. From the analysis I watched, I was also surprised to see unusual members shine through in Easy, namely Changbin (for his nice groove) and Seungmin (stiff, but nice attention to detail). (Easy was also the song that dropped when I finally committed to become a SKZ fan...looking back, I was very STUPID attempting to learn the dance...I can only do simple zumba stuff lmao). Domino is the real devil. It has a lot of tiny details AND demands a lot of stamina. While the Easy dance practice got me wanting to dance along, Domino dance practice gave my eyes a workout and left me tired lmao. But I love it for its cheekiness and playfulness, something I wish SKZ would bring back in their more recent stuff. Lee Know himself would not dare dance it in 2x speed. It's THAT difficult. On the other hand, since you love watching them being synchronized, I want to recommend Miroh and My Pace dance practices. Both songs are pretty old but have a lot of sections where they dance in unison, and the jumping/foot stomping sounds are very satisfying! Both have music videos too. Just gonna sneak this in, but if you love synchonized dancing, I'd like to suggest you check out groups who are actually known for synchronized dancing, Seventeen and The Boyz. I don't actively follow them myself, but I've seen a lot of performances and they've been mindblowing! Something about really big, 10+ member-group of tall guys dancing in unison just amazes me. I am terrified to get to know them one by one though, so I just stuck to being a casual fan.
the synchronisation probably isn't too hard with them because they're so chronically in sync with each other that even just in regular everyday they mimic each others actions without thinking or realising it lol theres compilations of them just all doing the exact same movement or noise at the same time out of nowhere
I don't know how much time a week they dance NOW but they spent a LOT practicing in the old times. Specially Hyunjin, he said he used to be a very bad dancer but he practiced every hour that he wasn't in class nor sleeping till reach this. I admire so much their hard work And yeah, korean working time is crazy. I think I could never spend so much time working like they do
And now he routinely gets called one of the best in the business! yeah, there are videos of him talking about being made fun of in dance classes at JYP because he struggled so much (“bro, stop trying, you’ll get by on your pretty face”) - the pride!! like the Grinch, my heart grows three sizes!
Since you seem to love their dancing, especially Hyunjin's and his body control I cannot recommend enough that you watch his 2 self-choreographed dances on Skz Player (look up Hyunjin Play with Fire, and When the Party's Over, also an honorable mention for his dance for Criminal) and please for the love of god go watch his Artist of the Month dance cover of Motley Crew by Post Malone (it even has some great editing you may like from Studio Choom)
You should react to straykids scars mv & dance practice if u haven’t already. It has a really nice Mv and shows a different side of them in terms of their music as well as choreography :)
I have always had a soft spot for the dancepractises for "Get Cool" and "Awkward Silence". They are so early that they are still 9 members, but you can already see their synchronisation. Also again: soft spot for their goofy-ness in those early videos ❤ Hard to pick an alltime favourite though.... So many great dances and songs... ❤
nah bcs i've been WAITING for a domino choreo reaction, its literally my fav and no one can tell me otherwise LIKE WHAT back door is also a rlly good song and the choreo is amazing as always
Aw thank you so much ❤ I always love reacting to the music videos, but it's fun to watch other videos from all these groups as well. I'm hoping to do more stray kids reactions soon and some for other groups. Your comment made my day 🙂
7:38 they need 2-3hours (depends on the choreo) to learn the choreography and then they go through details with lee know to perfectionize(?) it. there are videos of them learning the choreography for albums in the „album intro“ of theirs!
How comebacks usually work is theres months put to learning choreography, lines, etc but usually they don’t take long to pick it up because they’re so used to intense choreo and being in sync with each other
Stray Kids is a group who are very self produced and put so much of themselves into what they create. They have solo songs in the form of whats called skz players and skz records, they have unit tracks in their albums like muddy water by rapline (hyunjin, jisung, changbin and felix). I recommend honestly anything but i love when people get to know the members more so I recommend looking into their skz players
This reaction is so good and really objective. As a Stay i enjoyed and appreciate your commentaries and highlights. I just hope you continue your journey to SKZ. They are the best group.
stray kids actually gotta make everything happen in minimuim(however you say it)amount of days for like the recording and learning to dance to making the mv and the they gotta go back and do music shows stages and events then doing photoshoots so most of the time they rarely get sleep as JYP overwork they idols alot so its rlly overwhelming but ty for reacting💗💕 edit; i also heard when skz was a trainee they use to run on tredmills and sing or rap to get their breathe perfect and thats how they usually do their footworks perfectly and theres an unvile or smthn ver of domino just serach domino and you should see it by JYP or SKZ
if you look at old dance practice videos (pre-debut) you can see that, yes they have improved, but their synchronization is top tier since the beginning
You could also do a triple video reaction to all Hyunjin's solo choreos Or a double of Danceracha doing their unit songs Wow and Taste (let me drop the good fancams because the official tv channel ones are not great) Here's a full cam for Taste, the full song: th-cam.com/video/E2Mq3N3NuTE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dP7QMA5lz1tgXTgK And this is THE (in)famous fancam for Wow, that shows them up close and clear: th-cam.com/video/udupP1NXSPc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ftJcrzvAK-5JOEoe DISCLAIMER : these will not help you choose between Lee Know and Felix, they will just make you fall harder for all 3 of them...
Studio Choom versions of them doing their dances are something I think you will appreciate. It is only these dances but the audio is clear and the cameras are up close so you can really see the finer movement details.
Of the three who did the high kick during the "Easy" dance practice video: In addition to training as a dancer......Felix did competitive Taekwondo for 12 years before becoming an idol, so that explains his high kick. And of course Hyunjin and Lee Know are excellent main dancers who do a lot of stretching and training. By the way the three of them - Hyunjin, Lee Know and Felix - make up the DanceRacha sub-unit.
There's no bad dancer in Stray Kids actually and I am proud of that, although their level of dancing are of different tiers but they all work together to make their performance in complete harmony with each other❤️ I love every songs and performances they have but my pick for best performance would be Thunderous❤ Noteworthy also are LALALALA, Megaverse, Domino, All In, Side Effects, etc (All songs are included, all are firee)
In my opinion I think one of their best performances is “God’s DUDUDU” which they performed on Kingdom: Legendary War. It was a TV show which they competed against 5 other prominent boy idol groups like IKON and ATEEZ. All of their performances on that show were absolutely amazing. Besides “God’s DUDUDU” there is also “I’ll Be Your Man” which is a song by BTOB in which they redid for the show and “Wolfgang” which premiered on the show but was put in their NOEASY album that came out right after the show ended. For “Wolfgang” please listen to the OT8 version from their album because the original doesn’t have Hyunjin since he was put on hiatus at the time for some false bullying accusations.
I hope you check out scars dance practice next! It's a really different style and the choreo is everything. Also Hyunjin's dance performances to play with fire and motley crew (studio choom), you've gotta see them 🔥
Listen to My pace, hellavator (their first self produced song), district 9 what they debued with, and red lights a great song for families ❤, YAYAYA a challenge, and finally Victory song, maybe even cheese its just a funny song
Stray kids dance practice are amazing 🤩 they even better with their live stage performance as well 🔥 Recommend you watch their slow songs dance practice to SCARS, LEVANTER & I AM YOU ❤
they said in an interview that they dance 1-2 hours and make sections in the dance so its easier i think but im not sure. and yes they have a mv for domino
-Easy and Domino are probably my two favorite dance practices. - If you're wanting to check out more MVs def check out Easy and Miroh. - You should check out the dance practices for MEGAVERSE and Double Knot
This one isn't a Stray Kids dance practice, but could you react to their Red Lights mv? It's just the Chan and Hyunjin subunit, but the scene cuts and visuals are stunning! One of my absolute favorite videos of theirs. 😊
A list of other Dance Practices from SKZ to react to: Back Door Megaverse Boxer (it says Special Video in the title) Levanter Hellevator Scars (one of my favs) Double Knot Ta All In Freeze Miroh (a classic) My Pace (super fun) District 9 Side Effects TOP (it says Special Performance Movie) That's it, enjoy
Domino is probably my top fav too. Just all the little things they do in it. Unfortunately there is no official MV. They did an unveil video for it, but it's just a part of the song - still worth checking out though. A dancer reactor pointed out in the beginning that they emulate an automatic domino table that pulls all the pieces in and sorts them and spits em back out into lines for the players. The song's lyrics are spanning everything you could think of about domino - the game, the effect, the pizza. lol Just an awesome song. I also love Lalalala and S-Class so much, but Domino is just... I dunno. Those domino moves get me. If you watch it again, look for Chan - twice he does cute things to usher in Felix's part. First time he is like a bodyguard. Second time he is sweeping him in like he is doing curling. So cute. Easy is one of my top songs (Changbin's rap just slaps) but the MV is a bit low budget so don't expect S Class level MV hehe. It was a few years ago and I don't think they had a high budget for a b side. I'm just glad they made it as it's really one of my faves. I second @Maxiro03 to react to Scars. It's a japanese one though so usually no subtitles on the MV. However! Scars is also one of those that has a First Take video (if you don't know, The F1rst Take is a japanese channel that has artists come in and do their song in one take, whatever happens, happens. There are no do overs.) and the video if you turn on subtitles will have the lyrics. So I would recommend all 3 - Scars MV for the editing/story. First Take version for live vocals and subtitles. and Dance Practice to see the full glory of the choreo as we get teased in the MV but seeing it all is so awesome.
I think that they are so in sync bc all of them have composed and written songs, which makes it easier to hear the tempo and beat in a song (coming from somebody who has played 3 instruments). After I played a month of piano I could already hear the rythm in songs, so yeah.
I would like to suggest you watch the Rock star intro part 3 dance practice it shows some of the work that goes into a song they also have recordings as well and mv making videos for a lot of their tracks they are so good
Everyday!!! For hours It's something that even other artists in their company say, that like there are days when some artists are not in the company but skz are ALWAYS there, always
I came back to this one because your reaction to Domino is so funny! "I don't know what's so good about Domino..." EVERYTHING, the choreo is one of their most difficult ones, one of the songs that has the fastest bpm, the lyrics are sick, the beat is sick, the domino sound in the background, ghe Domino table they create at the beginning is sick! they literally created a DOMINO TABLE with their bodies, that's insane. The ring bell sound at the beginning and Lee Know saying "pizza" referencing Domino's Pizza brand, the coordination, execution and synchronization is sick, the creativity everything around Domino effects, every move is connected in a domino effect (this type of connected moves when they repeat and connect with the next one is actually called domino moves in dancing). So yeah, EVERYTHING is another level and the most shocking thing is that Domino is a B side, it's not even a title track 🤯
i can’t find skz’s dance practice of circus (which that is one of my top songs of theirs) but back door, double knot, and hellevator (which is my number one song of theirs) are all solid choreos
I love that you're doing special video just for dance practices. I love full view choreo, fully appreciating it. There are some songs I actually prefer the dance practice over the video. They make it look so easy that it is too easily forgotten how very hard they work. (These are just a few in this video, I hope you do videos of just practice videos in the future!)
welcoming you into the "obsessed with skz music" club😄 Honestly, probably 90% of my music consumption is Stray Kids...with a bit left over for Xdinary Heroes, Ateez and The Rose😜
Dude, if you like the dances, you need to watch Hyunjin's play with fire and artist of the month (motor crew). These are his solo performances but they are definitely worth it.
I dont know if this is true but i heard that momo said on a vlive that they dance 12h a day. momo knows that cuz Straykids and Momos kgroupe are under the same company
Yess I was just waiting for you to get farther into Domino and change your mind hahaha. Love your descent into Stray Kids madness! I think Double Knot also has some fun choreography too that you would enjoy! And I'd also love to see you react to the Easy m/v!
If you added Domino to your Playlist, try charmer and cheese. Also maybe check out the charmer live performance from the maniac tour (it doesn't have a mv or a practice).
Stray kids talent is why I love them so much!!!! The music videos and music so incredible!!! But let me tell you.. WATCH PERFORMANCE VIDEOS!!!! I love watching k-pop stage performances from award shows or music festivals cause not only are they singing while dancing but the sets and stage decor is insane!!! Top suggestion would be the when they perform at the Golden Disc Awards and the AAA Awards. The set really brings out thier talent.
"they make it looks so easy" while skz is singing "imma make it look so easy" is legendary
Totally ! 😊

JYP is missing out cause a Domino MV would be so good. I'd react to that instantly.
@@CCrizzicthere is a my about domino
@@Livvy-f2d There's no full mv for domino, there is unveil track (basically a "trailer" for mv but they never release the full mv)

I don't know how often they practice, but in one S Class practice, they teased that Lee Know doesn't let them rest while they are practicing. 😂

Stray kids are GREAT dancers OMG
i started listening to stray kids for felix but quickly fell in love with bang chan's voice who quickly became my bias
I think that they are so in sync bc all of them have composed and written songs, which makes it easier to hear the tempo and beat in a song (coming from somebody who has played 3 instruments). After I played a month of piano I could already hear the rythm in songs, so yeah.
Megaverse is so good
Felix has 63 taekwando medals, so he's stretchy 😅
There is an MV for "Easy" :)
I would like to suggest you watch the Rock star intro part 3 dance practice it shows some of the work that goes into a song they also have recordings as well and mv making videos for a lot of their tracks they are so good
Everyday!!!
For hours
It's something that even other artists in their company say, that like there are days when some artists are not in the company but skz are ALWAYS there, always
If you want the best performance ever you should watch Kingdom Wolfgang its not only stray kids but its amazing!
def def listen to scars, the first take it’s so good !!!
Stray Kids "DOMINO" is a track from their "NOEASY" Album. "Thunderous" is the title track of the album.
i can’t find skz’s dance practice of circus (which that is one of my top songs of theirs) but back door, double knot, and hellevator (which is my number one song of theirs) are all solid choreos
i just started getting into stray kids recently too and i'm OBSESSED. haven't been into a kpop guy group since BTS so i have high standards lol
Omgggg I love your reaction!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️✨
I'm both Felix & Lee Know biased ❤❤
If they make mistakes Lee Know yells at them 😂
welcoming you into the "obsessed with skz music" club😄 Honestly, probably 90% of my music consumption is Stray Kids...with a bit left over for Xdinary Heroes, Ateez and The Rose😜
I like and highly recommend performance video for songs: Miroh, TA, Side Effect, Double Knot, Victory Song, TOP m/v
HOLY- MY FRIENDS BIASES ARE LEE KNOW AND FELIX-
All sky music v are awesome, you should also check Hyunjin studio choom motley C. It's sick
Dude, if you like the dances, you need to watch Hyunjin's play with fire and artist of the month (motor crew). These are his solo performances but they are definitely worth it.
And this dance practice is also one of the best, in my opinion:

I dont know if this is true but i heard that momo said on a vlive that they dance 12h a day.
momo knows that cuz Straykids and Momos kgroupe are under the same company
MORE STRAY KIDS 🎉
Yess I was just waiting for you to get farther into Domino and change your mind hahaha. Love your descent into Stray Kids madness! I think Double Knot also has some fun choreography too that you would enjoy! And I'd also love to see you react to the Easy m/v!
You’re becoming STAY ! 😉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'm new keep up the good work! Do you have a favorite song on the Rockstar album?
I really love 'leave' and 'megaverse.' Those 2 I've been listening to nonstop 😆
All in and circus are like so amazing please react to their dances and mvs
I don’t think they dance as often as others. They said they learn the dance in 2-3hrs and just practice. Idk how much they practice tho…
They practice 10-12 hours a day
HELP HE DIDN’T SEE HELICOPTER HYUNJIN
If you haven’t you should lowkey check out the My Pace dance practice it has to be one of my favs
One of my favorites is Thunderous
If you added Domino to your Playlist, try charmer and cheese.
Also maybe check out the charmer live performance from the maniac tour (it doesn't have a mv or a practice).
You should watch hall of fame too the dance is just so impressive
I fell into that trap too, love love them
Stray kids talent is why I love them so much!!!!
Also recommend double knot dance practice. Its really insane. Must watch it.
