In years past I have gotten lucky and hit 20k hand pays a couple times, among other hand pays and wins, but it's not how much do you win overall it's how much with slots you lose overall, which is why playing where you get the comps of free suites, food, shows, etc....can be important vs other vacation trips which are just expensive. The majority of slot players at the end of the year are going to have lost more then they won and while I know some people who have winning years that doesn't happen very often unless someone has won a huge progressive and even then they better quit playing long term unless eventually they want to give it back. Slots in my opinion are for entertainment and winning on them just means you get more play and funds for more entertainment on them in the future.
$1000 is a nice way to end on. I think I like the regular Platinum Quick Hits over this new Platinum Plus Wheel. Too much going on and frankly Max Bet at $25 a spin is way out of my bank roll. As tight as these machines are, $25 a spin is ludicrous! Glad it was a good gamble for you though at $5 / spin.
