Kimmel has never been funny, nor is the rest of the junior league that swept in and replaced the nightshow hosts. Fallon is quite possibly the worst of the lot. I've literally never heard a genuine laugh from him. Not once. Every single time it's forced and fake like Chandler's worklaugh. Tubby McWhatshisface is at least adorable when he's in a good mood (that Adele car ride, to name one) but a self-entitled wanker when he's not getting his way.
Leno may not have been to my taste the last few years as his age took its toll, but legacy matters, and I respect that he put the time in. So did Dave, Conan, Craig, and Jon. Hell, Jon is honestly a seperate league; he knows no equal. Craig too was absolute magic to watch. Special mention to Secretariat and Geoff ( RIP Grant ), and of course the "executive" we all wanted to bend over a countertop and ravish, BETH. I honestly miss that show in a way that feels like my puppy died or something. 😮‍💨

Being pressured into an embarrassing situation involving explicit sex scenes, and experiencing sexual harassment at work are traumatic enough, let alone having someone make fun of you for it. However, the actors’ performances in this movie were exceptional. The dance scene was creative and uninhibited and hilarious. I am in awe with the actors and this story. I was clapping along with Bella Baxter for showing everyone the double standards, unfairness, stifling situations, meaningless expectations, and the societal codes that unethically define gender, class, behavior, etiquette, vocation, relationship roles, and personal development.

The reason his jokes fell flat was because they were all pretty outdated. Ricky made a joke on RDJ's drug addiction at the 2011 golden globes, 13 years before. If Kimmel believes we will still find it funny in 2024, he or his writers are out of their minds. There was so much other new stuff that could have been joked about. Thats what I like about Ricky, he is up to date with the latest stuff that he can joke about, and he says it upfront to these stars at the beginning that we will be having a laugh at your expense. Kimmel did a better job at 2017 oscars infact.
