Top notch video👌 I can see there still aren't very many videos covering this machine. I bought one over a year ago and posted a vid on it because there wasn't much out on it but I just wanted to see if it worked and to see if I could weld something since I had never tig'd before. Great machine to learn and practice with if you don't want to spend alot. You did a great job explaining how to set it up and use it. I haven't used mine much. I'll have to get it out and get to work on some projects. From across the pond, cheers👍
@@aminkhan1292 My garage is on a 32a ring main, however the limiting factor on this is the plug top which is 13a now ive replaced that dodgy fuse it comes with originally.
@aminkhan1292 it was welding in the video with a 13a fuse no issues. As said in the video just swap out the dodgy 13a fuse it comes with, with a proper 13a fuse
Tip for tungsten grinding. Chuck it into a cordless drill and grind away on beltsander or some sanding disc on the angle grinder. Do not use a stone. Tungsten is hard and will destroy a stone very quickly
On the plug itself there is a little cover (between the 3 pins). Just use a small pic to pry that off and the fuse is behind. If they’ve changed the plug since mine then there may be a small screw you’ll have to undo to get to it - should be very obvious when you look at the plug itself
Does anyone have a good US source for the replacement hose and regulator? Can you just buy a standard Argon hose and cut off the fitting on the welder end and side the hose onto the welders barb fitting?
I’m obviously in the U.K., but I just measured the barb fitting out the back and got a length of good quality thick silicone hose. Regulators usually have a barb fitting on too - so you usually just need a hose between the two
@@rustypaint Thanks pal, i've been in two minds whether to buy 6X3 sheet and buy a cheap mag drill or get the top laser cut,, i've had some nutty quotes.👍
@DazFab_Metalworks I probably still have the DXF files from this one somewhere, I’ll have a look later today. It’s only 1x1m due to my small garage but you could just make it bigger or bolt two together 😂
@@rustypaint Thanks lad i did actually draw one up in cad on my channel way back.. a little long winded, I think for now i'm gonna settle for just getting a top done.👌
Hey man i have also had this welder for a while with the foot pedal, but once i left off the pedal and stop my weld it shoots a jolt of amps to the tungsten for a split second. I believe it did it for you as well. Do you know what could be causing this? Anything helps! Cheers!
Can’t say I noticed, as I’ve got literally 30 mins of alloy welding experience haha 😂😂. I can only assume it’s due to being a cheap pedal set up, maybe it holds the power for a few seconds after stopping.
Thank goodness for this video , well delivered tutorial and I thank you 🙏
No problem, and thank you 🙏

Thanks buddy! Truth be told I haven’t used it since making the video haha!! I also need to get welding with it 😂
@rustypaint 🤣
Just bought one can't wait to try it
Hope you enjoy it, it’s great for the money!
@@rustypaint quick question, what fuse breaker and gauge of wire have you connected yours to?

@@rustypaint so did you just use 13amp fuses? and it hasnt blown it?

Very nice video! I have one question, how do I get to the plug fuse?

@ is there any way you could send me a picture of the cover? I’m trying not to tear my plug up. Haha

Thank you! @rustypaint
Thank you for nice and entertaining review. Can this device be used with AC pulse?
Thanks for the comment - yes it has the option for pulse (it’s one of the buttons on the right) but I’ve yet to try it 👍
@@rustypaint Maybe Santa Claus will get my letter and I hope to get one for me too :) Thanks for the work you do and share in your channel!
Good review pal👍 , where's your table from? thanks.
Drew it up on CAD and had it laser cut, as it worked out about 4 times cheaper than buying a pre-made one 😂.

Mettez la balance à entre 30-35% ça marche beaucoup mieux 👍
