    The mods I'd go for.....
    1) Ohlins R&T DFV dampers and get them installed by Suspension Secrets. (or a Bilstein setup from Litchfield under development that Chris Harris has on his own M2C).
    2) Pagid RSL29 Brake pads all round + fluid + braided lines
    3) Remus Exhaust (Akrapovic way too expensive)
    4) 763M Wheels in Frozen Gold
    5) Maybe a remap by Litchfield?
    And then put 100+K miles on it.
    Happy days

    Mines an OG. Standard suspension is not great together with the standard geo = bouncing plus understeer. MSS springs jury is out haven’t done the front ones yet. Standard pads ( Pagids ) fade badly even on the road. Fitted RP1’s which are much better. When I get the front springs and geo done I’ll see how it is.
    Did the geo change stop the aggressive self centre effect ( feels like understeer ) and reluctance to turn in ?

      Hi Daveet
      In my experience it’s always best to discuss this with your warranty supplier.

    If your first OR second modification isn't an ECU tune you're just posing. Unleash the S55 and improve the handling otherwise your efforts are only cosmetic. For my M2C.... a tune with a cam shaft resolution, KW upgrade and a charge cooler & beefier trailing links finished up with counter balancing should kick the CS's tail !

    How did you buy this car? Im trying to find the same car - color + sunroof - but in manuel and it's been so tough. These things are going over msrp used. There don't seem to be many at all with the sunroof. Did you spec this out and buy it new from BMW?

    We are definitely spoilt for choice when it comes to the countless ways of enhancing/modifying this car. I settled on the following:
    1. An axle-back Eisenmann system that deletes that hideous back box from the factory.
    2. A stage 1 tune from ESS that yields around an additional 100 HP and 130 NM.
    3. A set of ESS silicon charge pipes as an insurance policy for the increase in boost and finally,
    4. Fitting the widest possible set of tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S) on the standard rims. 255/35 FRONT and 285/35 REAR. I perhaps could have gone wider, but didn't want to take the chance for fear of rubbing.
    Still pretty much retaining the factory look but, 'boy oh boy' does it now make for one 'hell of a ride!!'

    • @CarMadDad

      Too many options for a simpleton like me chap. Bog fan of the Eisenmann system - how have you found it?

    The ugly 788m have to go. Get a set of 437m or 763m, both look way better imo.
    For spacers I did 10mm front/12 rear just to leave a bit more room and I've got H&R springs.

    • @CarMadDad
      @CarMadDad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Debating wheels chap but in honesty - personally i'm a fan of the 788's. And i think the money is better spent elsewhere for me. Big fan of the other wheels also (especially the 763's

    • @Haenki
      @Haenki 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CarMadDad of course wheels are a question of taste and preference, I just think they look like bicycle wheels and don't do the car justice. What future plans have you got?
      I'm thinking of making a Clubsport style car (not CS) by taking out the rear seats and adding a half cage. Then I'm planning on upgrading the brakes with pads, lines and fluid, I've got the standard blue brakes, K&W V3 and an M Perf spoiler for good measure.
