Currin1776, A BattlBox suggestion is that little air pump light! That little thing was pretty nice!

Not so much a skepticism of the bivy, its neat and i understand why you promote it. Ive nodded at it a few times. Mine aint broke though, so no reason to pull the trigger. I do think that you could go lighter, smaller (packable), and more space for cheaper. 3 days/nights over 40 miles in the spring..... i think id just roll a tarp. Onewind has a good one id probably take out. That being said, temperature takes its toll, my bivy comes out in the cold for that airspace control.

I love the flex tail pump, mines a lil charred up, I may have dropped it in the fire, using it to fan the flames, which works amazingly btw.

To Hell with the contrarians who only want to only find fault with whatever is seen online. The fact that they troll these comment sections prove that there is a spectacular lack of imagination when it comes to product limitations.
I like this one man tent. It's high speed, and low drag. And on the cold nights, the smaller tent is *much* easier to warm and *keep* warm. As long as it keeps the wet off you, what is there to complain about? If it looks like it is lacking, then you are not creative enough to make it in the boondocks!
One note? I have been with BB since the beginning, isn't it about time this tent has a reversible rain cover? The bright yellow is way too visible for these needs. Any time i go out into the woods with a rifle (you never know what you find out there) I like to stay as low key as possible. You know, just in case.
How about a revesable rain fly? OD green on one side, (or even better, Woodland Camo) and desert tan on the reverse. (For those of us morons who never left the desert) I think it will add to the versatility of this tent multiple times over.
    (Just a suggestion)
Also.....any time to bring the dog is a good time in the woods. 😁

Pretty cool video, brother. Loved how you demonstrated the tent internal size and room by actually getting in it with your pack. Well done. Looking forward to the next one. Keep up the excellent work! 👊🔥

I have 2 of these tents, they are awesome! As specially in the warmer months. I would definitely advise upgrading the steaks, and Redcamp makes a ground fly that makes a perfect footprint for them as well.

Just got the larger snugpack clone bivy tent from battle box for 15$ never used on marketplace. Thing seems very well made and weighs 2.7 lbs. Actually has tons of room inside to lay down. Just can't sit up in it. And comes in a great quality dry bag /stuff sack. Can't wait to test it out

Klymit makes a 2 man tent this pretty light for a decent price. As far as the bear burrito. The benefits of more room in a tent as far as bears go isn't in protection but the fact that it can't definitely tell where you are in the tent, the same as with an ill intentional person. You could just as easily be sitting in a larger tent pointing a shotgun at their outline as you could be sound asleep. It makes it a risk to attack you weather it's a bear or a person.

    Sir,
My only request is this: a more subdued color for the tent fly.

Also the tent being small would also retain body heat better

I use mine kayak camping and it’s perfect. 5000 mm hh and I’ve camped in many storms and stayed dry, both me and my 70 liter pack. If no one wants theirs, I could always use a spare 😂

Have this tent as well, but have not had the opportunity to use it. Probably won't get a chance till spring since it's winter and I can only get my lady out in a hot tent atm. But it's like people don't understand the purpose of a 1 man tent. Also in my experience, the smaller the tent the better it holds up in wind and bad weather.

My issue with the tent was rain. Was up hiking with it, and one night, it started coming down a bit harder than was forecast and the side "walls" where it's not mesh, just were not high enough.

I would do an overnight in it , to see which pad you might like. I would sacrifice a little weight for some comfort. That just me.

People with unlimited money will never win events against people who have skill sets with limited budgets. That tent is more than big enough for 2 if need be. For the sleeping pad. From experience you will be so tired that you can fall asleep on a rock for 6 hours

Idk man... those dudes with weapons mounted range finders were pretty much leading the pack all last year 😬 and that was before the vortex impact so...💸💸💸💸💸
