My favorite survival map is Magus Quarters, just for sentimental reasons. It was the first map i ever played, back when it was a demo for learning Unreal Engine 3. Been away from DDA for a while, your videos are a great source for getting back into it. Thanks for everything you have done, been listening to you on and off for years, nice to have such a constant in this realm!
I like DDA Magus Quarter the most for a classic chill but Foundries and Forges comes in a close second. Something about The Outpost map gets on my nerves usually but I have had a couple of fun runs there while I was getting my golden giraffe. Thanks for this video, I will probably try out the build.
I need advice on progressing efficiently. I only have 1 additional hero (and 2 additional hero slots (and I know I can buy more)). I chose EV2 as my first additional hero, and I now have enough medals for a 6th hero. Which hero would be best for getting ancient power? I have 1 ancient power and my minimum ascension level is 3372. Before, I focused mainly on wizard's earthshatter and arcane barrier (arcane barrier was usually redundant. a few well-placed earthshatter with around 150 asc points and tier 6 relic and EV2 laser can win a tier 8 level relatively often. I mostly just joined people, who were higher level than me though.) I'm asking here because this is your most recent video, and all videos I could find on the subject are either potentially outdated or based on something that is way out of reach.
If you already have the EV2 then get whoever you want. A hero is not going to aid your progression, all heroes with proper shards are strong enough to go through the game and all heroes without proper shards are not. Game of shards and mods, not heroes.
@MrJuicebags Ok. I think I'll take the one with the daggers then. Secondary attack seems powerful based on shards. Also, I don't have an efficient melee hero yet. I do see the monk's potential with the buff thing, and I'm gonna make some equipment for him next ancient power reset.
I just started playing, man i'm lost on lot of things especially what are good towers and gear for each heroes or etc. also what is a good hero duos for co-op.
Early game proton beams and wisps are extremely powerful. Any duo will really work. Having a monk on the team to boost hero dps is always a good play though!
So i recently started playing again, and was wondering what the first 2-3 dps towers i should chase to get rifted gear for and improving? And once i get all the rifted gear for the support towers and dps towers do you just focus on one armor set and improve that than the next one?
How do you get your upgrade cursor to stay still? Everytime i go to upgrade the cursor spawns halfway across the map i had to stop playing because it was so tedious to drag it over everytime not to mention the time it took
Assuming you are using the auto upgrade targeting (As you should be) The key is don't try to target anything. Target the ground next to whatever you are trying to upgrade and repair and it will snap to the defenses.
Armor in DDA is all target farmed. So best to play the maps where the guaranteed item drops on Mix Mode Dune Eater Hardcore Difficulty. For general farming for drops Foundries & Forges on same difficulty is a good choice.
Same as all the unlocks, have to kill the Dune Eater on that game mode. So for mix mode massacre, you need to do Mixmode massacre on Temple and kill the boss! Good luck!
Thx for help i played alchemical laboratory instead and got some godly armor i lost to the boss but got to wave 25 i just need a good dps weapon so I can kill the boss

I would need to say Magus Quarters. For the ease and the loot that I still need. Tornado Highlands is a second for gear.

I personally would go for a guard set first as it hits so many super strong defenses, so you can move it around to where you need it.
