On October 3rd, 2002 we saw you for the first time. Back then you were still a monster that destroyed the hidden leaf village. Today, October 3rd, 2021, you passed away as a hero. R.i.p. old friend Kurama 😞🧡
I've seen reactors holding their tears back, but they don't have to, there's not gonna be another first time for something this intense. I'll sub to anyone shedding tears for the goat kurama. This is exactly how I'd expect a manga reader to react
I cried watching it, editing it, RE editing it, and twice proof watching it. I'm so exhausted.... Edit: Everyone's so emotional in the comments it's making me cry.
This ep hit so hard I've been watching Naruto and Kurama grow together since my childhood and I shed tears too like Boruto at the end. I respect this anime and series alot.
12:14 This....the moment the God of Shinobi...best Hokage..the character we all love and admire and respect...the moment he starts desperately clawing his hand out...bawling for Kurama to not go.....no true fan can stop their tears. Absolutely no shame in it. Feel proud that we were allowed to witness something so great firsthand in our meagre lives.
I cried while watching it and then cried a few more times watching reactors genuinely crying for this loss. I can't even begin to imagine what Naruto went through atm
I'm glad you're not one of those reactors who pretends to be all stoic and not cry in moments like that, a REAL fan would bawl their eyes out as you did. The way Naruto screamed Kurama's name was heartbreaking.
I usually never cry or even get any emotional, but Naruto.....fk, never uglycried this much before...legit the best anime of all time, so much joy and so much tragedy, such a masterpiece!
Who'd have guessed Kuruma, the old mass of a hatred would become this chill, peaceful being, who sacrificed himself not just for Naruto, but for the world and the humans he used to despise, and he was clearly at peace with his time spent and how he was about to go, expressing appreciation to Naruto as well and entrusting the future to Naruto who he clearly trusts and also the new kids on the block. When he looks at Naruto and starts to visualize young Naruto to his now adult self I was gone yo
Naruto started out as a lonely scared child, shunned by his own neighbours fearing the scary demon inside him. Gradually, he conquered all his fears, made friends with the demon too...and blossomed into this beautiful, selfless Hokage. Just last episode, we saw Naruto at full strength kicking ass in God Mode. Even in this one, we could see how mature he has become as he accepts his own death laughingly, so calm and collected. But then he realises that it is just Kurama who is dying, sacrificing for Naruto...the demon who would have once gladly killed Naruto without a single thought...the demon who is actually his single oldest companion in his tumultuous journey....the demon whom he finally changed..whom he loves and respects more than a brother now....is dying so that Naruto survives. After overcoming so much, Naruto had become whole again....and then suddenly, one of the first holes that he filled with love is burst open...emptying him again....and he is once again that lonely, scared child waiting, shivering in the rain outside Ichiraku Ramen....as he screams, claws and begs his first companion against this dark cold world, to not leave him. If someone came and cut off my arm right now, I guarantee you I may scream more, but it would hurt less...a lot less...than this episode.
19 years you've been with us. 19 years we've invested into hating and loving you. 19 years and now you're gone. It really does feel like we've lost a friend
12:46 Legit telltale sign of a true fan! I cursed like hell in that outtro too....Kurama just died and they used the modified outro with their memories!!! I am only human...how much more can one take!!!
13:34 Anyone who held on till this point and didn't break..I applaud your restraint, but if this scream didn't break you to pieces....don't ever call yourself a Naruto fan again!
The previous generation will always surpass by the new generation, but we will forever treasure in our hearts all of the sweet memories together along with kurama and naruto.
The thing is .... Kurama isn't the type to show emotions that much ..... Seeing him like this ..😐 it's sad and he sacrificed himself for Naruto... Like there was a time when he was literally trying to kill him . 🥲
Sasuke: **loses his whole ass eye** Also Sasuke: **calmly figured out a way to kill narutos child** Either way mans just chilling he ain’t fazed for shit 😂
finally a reaction that was close to mine. the moment naruto passed out i started crying already lmao. then i was sobbing so much i wanted to stop the outro but couldnt for the life of me see the buttons to stop it anymore coz my eyes were too swollen and blurry already :)))) i was literally telling the video to stop ahaha damn the character acting (esp the VA) was so good. it really delivered. that outro was a bitch
the story of two creatures hating on each other forced to live together ending up as friends and fighting together finally ends ,,,, a long and wonderful stroy
watched this episode earlier and cried then watched your reaction video and bawled hahaha ... hits so hard for the whole franchise and i believe deeply that kurama does stll live on in himawari and boruto
i feel like if they didn't include an upbeat outro song for this episode, just flashbacks with piano or slow ost, it would've hit a lot harder. That abrupt outro takes you out of the feels, you know
I loved the outro, all of the nostalgia and tribute to Kurama...and it tied to the original outro of Naruto holding out his arm, this time we see why, and we also see why he woke up with everyone standing over him in the original outro. Just my opinion but I loved it. Fade to black would have killed everyone lol
@@TreyParker318 I'm all for the flashbacks of Naruto and Kurama but not with such an upbeat outro song. I was talking about this upbeat song. Instead of this, if they showed those flashbacks with just a piano or old slow ost it would've been more powerful
Personally, I loved it, but I get that some people may not like it. I really like the lyrics to this song, it really fits the relationship between Naruto and Kurama. This scene in particular explains the meaning behind ending 17, I think that's why they chose this song.
same. While I really like the song, It came on too strong and too abruptly imo. If they really wanted to do it, then they should've had it playing at low volume in the background until the scene where it matches with ED or atleast it shouldnt have started as abruptly as it did. Personally, I would've used the ED Wind for it.
