The fact that insurance companies will not pay for the damage to your car if you exit said car before it was stomped on and then immediately crushed by a rocket-mutated monster probably explained why Joel's mother died in that car instead of getting out prior to the aforementioned mutated monster stepping on said car.
The real sin IS cooking the grenade in the first place, not the number you count to. None of the creatures you throw it at is going to know to move away from it or, God forbid, throw it back.
The grenade needs to be cooked because when you're being attacked, you can't cross your fingers and hope the creature remains perfectly still for 8 seconds.
The cook time doesn't start because of the pin it starts when the spoon is released also you can't throw a grenade back it's going to go off before you release it if you even pick it up
I gotta admit, 80% through the movie, i was super pessimistic, waiting for the moments when the movie would constantly remind us he's a loser. But everyone respected him the entire time really. He had hills that he had to climb, and he did. My mind was really set on ZombieLand's main character and how much of a loser he is at all times. It ended up as a solid movie though. Simple story is sometimes all you want.
Dylan O'Brien is one of the many actors akin to someone like Logan Lerman at their age who's acting talents are being wasted right now. Those guys should be in more stuff, I don't know if it's their agents or what but we need more Dylan O'Brien! Also for the sake of this movie, having never seen it, now that I know Jessica Henwick is in it, it's an immediate watch for me the next chance I get!🙏
This story has been done a million times what do you mean it’s one of a kind and unique? It’s just the heroes journey story. Bumbling nobody finds strength and courage on his journey and learns that he didn’t need the goal he set out for himself, that he had everything he needed already and didn’t see it
I just finished Teen Wolf which I talked tons of shit about until starting it but this guy made the show, he was comedic relief and was lead in most of the dramatic scenes in the show. He's amazing
He genuinely carried that show on his back. I mean, I liked the other characters, but he shined above literally everyone else. I've always really respected his acting abilities since then, and watch everything I can see him in.
I'm amazed at the restraint of not using the obvious outtakes of the Monty Python holy hand grenade rules as well as the Zombieland "rules" counting for this video. Was almost certain you all would use them.
Missed at least two great opportunities for Holy Grail outtakes: The first at 19:07 - "One, two, five... Three, sir. Three!" And the second at 19:30 - "The holy hand grenade of Antioch."
10:30 no no no no no absolutely no don’t count to 5 especially considering a grenades fuse is 5-7 seconds long you are taught as soon as you pull that pin that grenade is no longer your friend and wants to kill you so you wanna get rid of it instantly
I liked the movie, but...he tells the audience how he seems to be the first/only human to live with/undertsand the monsters, when he got help from two humans living in the wild already, and the villains were utlizing a monster as well.
You missed the fact that Joel managed to hi a cable/chain with a 40mm grenade whilst hanging upside down by a giant crab and having never once used a weapon like that. Also, even if he shot the crab with it, he wasn’t far enough away from it to arm so it’d be like a big rubber bullet, all impact, no explosion.
oh man, the holy hand grenade "three is the number thou shalt count!" joke was RIGHT THERE and not one of the outtakes. for shame, cinemasins, for shame.
I could have swore you guys already did this one. But then I remembered but that was a video that was only available to patreon members for a while. That also explains the year-old comments LOL.
can you guys do one on Pantheon? It finally got it's second season after being cancelled and It needs to be watched! it's underrated and an amazing watch.
Most underrated punch line here "Google map thinks I can do it in 30hrs. Which is absolutely shocking since the data I've been feeding into it for the past decade has been 80% breweries and burger joints" 😂😂 04:03
The beginning of this movie could also be a setup for the monster hunter video games, and humans learned to survive there just fine, they even hunt the monsters.
It's the apocalypse, humanity is about to be extinguished, people need to repopulate but NOOOOOO these two couldn't rekindle whatever they had and instead go their separate ways because there's like an abundance of options and all.
I genuinely love this movie. Joel is so cute and sweet. It's an adventure the whole way through with some rather touching moments. It's so visually beautiful at times and terrifying in others. If they can make a sequel as good as this movie I will be very happy to watch it

When I was 11, my older sister got me a really nice big set of colored pencils, I am 38, I finished the last one about a year ago. So yes, colored pencils can have a long life 🤣 especially if they mean something for you
The way id like to see dead rising rebooted is if it is set between the events of the first game starting with the very first zombie outbreak mentioned in the franchise set in Santa cabeza where you get to play as carlito and see first hand what made him the way he is in dr1 and make it play like the old dead rising games
You guys don't understand how badly I want this movie to have a sequel!!!
I want this movie to have a *show!* 🤩 So many adventures!

Insurance companies and their damn loopholes, but hilarious comment. +1
Fortunately, someone was there with a camera to record evidence of what actually happened. Take that, insurance company!
🤔🤗

The thing is, if you're not greedy, then one decent movie in Hollywood and you can be set for life and never really need to work again ...
Dylan O'Brien is an untalented actor who is playing only in stupid teen movies

The "Seven Days vs. 30 Hours" Sin
is some of the FUNNIEST shit I've ever heard my life! HANDS-DOWN!!!
I, myself, was waiting for a Minnow spin-off - but all I got was 65!
LOL!! How is it possible to make a movie that features a spaceship _and_ dinosaurs as dull as "65"?? It takes a special kind of anti-genius...
Is Minnow played by Ariana Greenblatt (Little Gamora/ the daughter in Barbie)?? I didn’t notice when watching the actual movie.

About your grenade related sin: the military does not recommend “cooking” grenades, because you’re holding a live bomb with a lit fuse.
No Holy Hand grenade in the outtakes? Come on!
