Looking at this now, as an adult, Kuzco and Kronk are both me. Kuzco represents my obnoxious, arrogant side, while Kronk is really more of me being nice, big and childlike.
This is so out of his post movie self. As much as I like the show 65/35 it's just they should have kept his post movie self and only sprinkled some moments of his old self and tamed NPD traits. He'll what if they did emperor's school with him also learning to overcome Yzmas "nuturing" to chisel into his true nature. That would have been paramount
