Legendary motor! Love it to death. Tamiya stop doing that motor because of the Mach Dash, but only the first batch of them were really amazing, after '99 they've changed the magnets inside toning down his power ( the first ones had green and red magnets, the last ones had plain grey ones). Then Mach Dash hasn't carbon brushes so was smarter selling them since they aren't durable like the Turbo Dash. What a bummer.
Thank you. Good information on the Mach Dash. Though I don't necessarily think Tamiya stopped making them because of the Mach Dash. It was more like, they made the Mach Dash because they we're going to stop making the Turbo. It's a limited edition motor that starts with a 9 part number. It was going to be out of print anyway just like the Zen Tuned. So they chose to replace it with a motor that would be cheaper to produce.

@@7tqpbnvh7tqpbnvh77 di pa ko nakagamit ng Plasma dash ever since. Prostock lang kasi ang laruan ko sir at ang pinaka malakas lang na nagamit ko na motor is Hyperdash 3. Based sa rules ng Speedtech dito sa Pinas hanggang Ultra Dash lang ang legal gamitin sa mga organize events, sa opinyon ko di worth it kung bibili kang Plasma Dash kung di mo rin magagamit.
@@HDAD419 Di ko kasi sya gagamitin for tamiya hehe. Ang hirap kasi mag hanap ng Plasma dash tapos medyo mahal. Kaya tinanong ko kung worth it. May nakita ako sa shopee kaso napaka bagal mag reply nung seller. Tinitingnan ko ngayon yung power dash at hyper dash 3..
@@HDAD419 hey. So binili ko yung plasma dash. Ang problema parang ang bagal umikot. Di ko pa sya na break in pero normal ba yun? Kailanga ko pa ikutin yung shaft para umikot...

I have 2 turbo dash motors before then sold them to my friends that still race mini 4wd. It only cost around 300 to 400 pesos during that time. Plasma dash around 700 pesos. My japanese friend gave me a "full metal blue" motor (not tamiya), told me it was rare. Haha. Memories. Thanks brother.

Yeah no, from the result of the top speed. It looks like the former owner ran the motor a few times. So the brushes already had some wear before I did this mild break-in.

Probably a Jet. The top speed is pretty much the same as an Ultra Dash. But it has more torque.
I've bought one with package in Japan and it look very new. Of course it is very expensive : ( $$$$
