Looking back, I've lost several chassis trying out Prostock PH category before I end up playing Basic Max. In a true sense, PsPH is far more expensive than BMAX especially for someone who's a total newbie. They literally have to learn from every expensive mistakes they make to perfect their setups. I literally wasted a close to hundred pairs of double plastic roller screws before getting it into the perfect angle for the DPR down thrust on my four units (that's average of 25 pairs of screws wasted on each car 🤑). Playing the Prostock PH category is shrouded as "low cost" because you only need to buy a pack of DPR's (double plastic rollers) and 2 pairs of 13mm or 16mm plastic rollers to be attached on the rear mount and just like that, "you're pretty much good to go!". Unfortunately for you, once you enter an official race, you'll definitely be eliminated on the very first round (unless you're extremely lucky).😅 Not to mention most Prostock players enter the race with an average of 6 cars so for such a newbie racer like you who unfortunately have 1 car to qualify, your chances of winning is close to never and you would definitely end up thinking of buying and setting up several kits just to make sure you win a race at least once. 🤣
This is a warning to all new racers out there, think 10 times before going into this category. It's better to buy several "expensive" items such as HG carbon plates as to make sure you protect your car from impact because trust me, your car will definitely be spending more time running off-track than completing a full course. Don't worry if you can't afford such HG carbon plates because there's always FRP counterparts that are always available at half the price.

trust me.. any category that involved with plastic roller ain't cheap in the long run.. bmax and open category is cheaper in the long run

Thanks for your valuable advice, unfortunately Bmax races are very rare in PH it depends on the organizers, while tmac is always available.

The prostock should become like a bmax type settings with the use of kit ONLY parts aside from motors kinda boring here in PH since its like should be called prohibited allot ar and s2 race 😁. No hate btw its just i think its gonna be allot more fun and competitive if its bmax with kit only parts race.

Gun blaster, FM-A chassis is a lightweight chassis plus it has stock front skid bar that acts as brake for slopes, don't use super hard as in case of an OPEN boxstock category as those are too slick for the stock motor and may slow your car due to lack of friction.
