Just returned home from 4 day adventure to Oskgosh air show with my 15 year old son. Wow! Treasured memories made and his interest in aviation is solidified for life. Thank you EAA and Oskgosh for a great week.
The show is truly incredible in person, cameras can't capture the true feeling of being there. But the show was great where I was siting almost all the planes flew right above me and I could feel the roar and shake of the planes and explosives in my chest, It is truly a great experience and if anyone gets the chance to go they should take it.
That's why I tell people to go at airshow, you can feel nothing in video (roar sound, your body shaking when a military jet just take off front of you, jet fuel smell)
Thanks to all the volunteers! There on Wednesday and watching the other days online! The content and production of the air shows was off the charts! Thank you !
Amazing! Ty so much. This Brings back memories of watching the EAA air shows from the home I grew up in near the EAA grounds. We would watch it while sitting in the driveway. & I’ve been to EAA a long time ago. The best part living in Oshkosh was meeting & talking with those who flew here for the EAA from around the US & around the world. Great times! Yes, I would like to know the type of each plane too. They have changed so much since then. For the better.
A small subtitle indicating mark and model of each display aircraft, would be a major improvement. As for the usual high quality of AS videos, we, the long time followers, are already accostumed.
It was a great day! I was fortunate to catch the Harriers preparing to depart and managed to get a few shots of them taking off. Amazing to think that the AV-8B has been flying for roughly 40 years!
Trying to find out if my long time friend John R Turgyan who passed away a few years ago, if his estate donated the 3 planes he owned to EAA? He always told me everything he owned was to be donated to Avaivation! His first love!
Went years ago, not so many jets, no drones or fireworks. Just lots of airplanes and talks and "how to" demonstrations for the hobbyist, flyers and home builders you know EAA. Now everything has to be a production. It was fun then too. Thanks for the video.
@@imperfectivnz I agree. It's the ones we just can't remember the name of that would be nice to refresh memory. That one used for personnel transport to aircraft carriers . . . Packet? There's one or two other slightly unusual planes that would be nice to remind oneself while watching. I've noticed in watching other fly-in/airshow videos that identify each aircraft how educational it is for the viewer. It would actually add value to these excellent Airshow productions if one could learn something more while watching. It's all excellent in any case. Thank you Airshow.
P-47, F-16, CT-114 Tutor, BO 105, two hurricanes a spitfire and a Canadian CF-18, four mig 17, two p-51 c but maybe the second one was a D, no clue what's shooting the fireworks, two f4u corsairs and a fa-18, Grumman hu-16c, ov-10d bronco, Grumman c1 trader, three av-8b harriers, I think the one at night with all the strobes is a beechcraft 18, cc-138 twin otter, b-25, beechcraft starship, ej-1 super pinto, that parked heli is a hh-60 jayhawk, ct-114 tutors again, the plane with the trailing sparks looks like a long-ez maybe, fa-18. Just sayin

Cool story
Two words. Just fabulous. Wish I could have been there. It's like a dream air show. Great video work and thanks for this.

@@DamzFR Yes, all that and much, much more!
That was so much fun! Amazing in person! Gets better and better every year!
Just got home to Texas from there at 1:30 AM, had to log on and see what I’m missing since leaving there Friday morning. Great show!

At 02:23 that Spitfire-Mustang-Hurricane-F-18 formation was awesome! Meeting of the past and the present...
Thanks to ASV for posting the highlights for those who couldn't go this year!
Thanks for the video. Since we didn’t go it’s nice to catch up h it on utube ! Thx
0:06 - How much for these seats?
Thanks for posting. I'm too old to go to Oshkosh. I still love flying!
Bad ass video!!!
Thanks

Was that opening low pass by the P-47 permitted?!
What was the dark painted Navy trainer type jet at 9:06? Very interesting looking.
It’s an AJI T-160 Super Pinto.
I liked the first clip of the P-47 best!
Bonnie is an incredible restoration!
Any recommendations on the basics to attend next year?
Love the opening shot, Strafe!!!
I wish you wouldve had clipped the drones doing the a10 Brrt pass with pyro
Did you watch the video?
Of all the cool moments on saturday. the nerd in me loved the canadian skyhawks jumping to the Helldivers 2 theme. All time laugh when i realized
Beautiful highlight reel! So sorry you forgot to include my arrival on the green dot, Monday evening at about 7:30pm, 😂.
Great lineup this year!
I’m thinking of going next year, and I’m wondering is there some sort of schedule or list of performers that day like many other airshows?
The EAA website does a breakdown of the performers for every day’s show if you want to check it out!
@@WiscomptonBoys thank you
Save the Harrier!

Love the demo paint on the viper
The harriers taking off yesterday was so cool to see. They lined up side by side and climbing straight up into space. Never to be seen again
The pinto was AWESOME! But the smoke was sooooooo not needed
Didn’t know any Pintos were still flying. Navy didn’t have a lot of them. Is there an example of one at the USN museum in Florida?
Nice tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen at 3:38. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Everyone had too absolutely book it too get front row seats i was one of them 😭

👍👍👍
I saw these guys practicing (olive in Milwaukee p)
F16 in that paint scheme is the best thing ever.
The parachuters in the beginning that almost had a mishap was terrifying. So glad the are safe
It was. Could have been so much worse, stayed in control as much as possible. Hope he's good.
@@katiepierce2198 God was there to save their lives.
wish i was able to make it out there all i got is the great texas airshow
God damn that 18 pilot getting right in there at 4:50 🤯
I need help. I’d like to see a replay of my number one departure last night on 18R at 6:39 pm. N346RV
Also was watching Oshkosh on flight radar
What kind of plane is @ 8:50 ?
Temco Super Pinto
Is the Polaris Mig-29 at Oshkosh in 2024?
Sadly it did not show up
can someone tell me why is that F-16 at the beginning painted like its 1973 ??
74. 50 years of the viper
You could add quite a bit of value to your content if you would identify each aircraft as it appears. Just sayin'.
The second plane with the big "F-16" written on the tail, is an F-16 :) hope this helps!
it’s pretty obvious what 99% of these aircraft are…

@@jinkies1592 Wow. Great memory!
I knew all of them except the Tutor, the Trader and the Super Pinto (unfortunate name choice).
Mustangs sounds best,,Thunderbolt was awesome
What is the jet from 8:47 to 9:09
Temco TT-1-not adopted my the USN,but still an interesting aeroplane. Look up N7754A to see a heavily modded example.🎸✈️🖖😀
