I felt as conflicted as Lydia about who to support when they switched...
They should try a version where it's just the wheel of units, each player spins, and whoever gets the more expensive unit gets 1, but the other player gets as many of their units to at least equal the cost.

Lydia is one of my favorite, if not the favorite yogscast member. She is genuinely one of the funniest members. Tom is also pretty funny too!! Loved this duo!

Didn't they get an extra wheel (or even two?) when they lost? The Free unit wheel, and then on top of that there was the move the line/1500 points more/clear special F and clear pick two. Feel like it made it way more balanced and gave us more content overall this way.

Big idea:
Instead of being random the faction wich you start, you pick your "main" army to election, then deploy $2000.
When the battle is over, you speen the wheel to see which army helps you. $2000 points of your main army, $1000 of the other army.
3rd battle is the same as the last one, but with more money. $2000 main army, $2000 the helpers.
From here, the rest of battles are the same.
Special features:
_The wheel of "free units" don't have the Secret Faction (you can still get them with the "Wheel of losers").
_The +$1500 changes to: +$1000 main army, +$500 reinforcements.
Open to questions and changes...
I agree with secret units being removed from the "free unit" wheel, but the rest would remove some of the randomness.
