Thanks to you and all the other vendors for making the "world's greatest hobby store" come together for the Nationals. Its obviously a ton of work, but it wouldn't be a show without all of you. 👍💯
Great video highlighting a great show! I appreciate all that you have done for the hobby since bringing the Squadron name back to life! While I lightened my wallet some at your area, I also found some items that will make their way onto my future orders. See you in Hampton!
Honestly, do you ever sleep?? That cutaway section of the USS Hornet was outstanding! I live in Virginia so maybe I can catch it next year; 2002 was last one I went to (Virginia Beach). Been a customer since 1972... when you still had retail stores ( lived near the one in DC, then moved an hour from the one in Detroit). Glad to see the brand back!
Worked at the actual Squadron in TX for a year in the warehouse spent a lot time and sweat keeping it organized and up to date. I'm a builder still and look upon those days with great fondness. Just a name now without the publishing and artwork.
I grew up on tge east coast of Florida, after serving in tge USMC for years i moved back, this mid-1982. I used to mail order from Squadron fir years, use mail the monthly news letter, and tge once a Squadron catalog. Wish i still had them. Good luck New Squadron
I wish you guys could come out here to southern California, cause I really miss the hobby shows, and swap meets, let me know will you, God bless, thank you Jerry
honestly , there is a subject in 1/35 scale level that need to be expanded , it is the Locomotives subject , so far i know there are only few locomotives type that available in that scale just like BR-52 Kriegslok , BR-86 , BR-64 etc , beyond them there are a lots of locomotives type that need to be kitted in 1/35 just like BR-41 , BR-01 , BR-85 , the classic BR-93 (Prussian T-14) and the Giant BR-05. there were used extensively and taking parts during the second world war
Had a great time, and enjoyed shopping even picked up the Takom 3 tiger Box
