When was this lesson? Coach Randy Stoughton unfortunately passed in January of 2023 after battling cancer last year. He came in a some last year, but was out quite a bit in the second half of 2022.
Gold level coach. Even better person. Rest in peace coach.

This lesson was back in 2015. Coach Randy was truly an amazing person and made a huge impact on me!

@@GarrettWongBowlingI had a lesson from Randy back in 2014. Great guy. Sorry to hear about his passing. But in any event, you have done a great job in keeping your right shoulder back behind the left one at delivery. I struggle with that same issue

@IAmTheEggMan111 Thanks, I appreciate it! One thing that really helped is wearing a wrist weight on my left arm, it helps to keep you aware of where it is throughout your approach!

One thing I don't really understand about this method of coaching is attempting to align the swing based on fully frontal view while you're actually projecting the ball to the right.
It would make sense to me to align the swing when the camera was at the target, not at board 20 when targeting board 5.
Imagine begin turned 90 degrees from the camera. There's no way to for the swing into that rectangle even if you had a perfect swing.
It's like walking parallel with the boards while playing cross lane - doesn't make sense really.

Awesome video. I am looking forward to seeing your progress. I think it's funny you call yourself a complete newbie.
