    CADMapper is (or at least it used to be) based on OSM data. So whatever data is available on OSM is available via CADMapper.

    Hi! Thank you so much for the video! Do you have any tutorials on clay renders to use for shadows?

    • @LearnUpstairs
      @LearnUpstairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Luciana! Yes, we do have other diagrams that use clay renders as shadows here on youtube. The one I can think of right now is the one from BIG.
      Also, over our course of Isometric Diagrams we teach it step by step in 5 different diagrams. You can learn more over learnupstairs.com/courses

    Do you have any videos that explain later masks? I’m trying to create more complicated renders but keep getting stuck with too many layers

    • @LearnUpstairs
      @LearnUpstairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Jefrrey, there's no video on the channel that talks specifically about masks, I usually try to create videos that have the end goal something related to Architecture or Urbanism. But in every video I talk a little bit about the basics.
      But the trick about layers is organizing them into folders and color-coding them! I think there are several videos where I mention this. Right-click on the visibility eye and choose a color. So categorizing your layers into folders is what makes really large and complex files workable.

      @@LearnUpstairs Talvez falar um pouco de formatos de apresentação, escolha de fontes, cores etc. Principalmente na questão de como deixar a apresentação numa linguagem única (como uma identidade visual) para os textos, diagramas, plantas e renders. E como isso se relaciona com o conteúdo do seu projeto :)

      Hey Laura, thanks a lot!
      So, Google images usually has a lot of good textures, you just need to know how to search them.
      Also Google for free texture websites. There are also a few options out there.
      Or even check out our packs to get a textured starter kit:

    I use rhino for my 3d modeling but now I’m wondering if switching to sketchup is a good idea or not? I’ve always liked sketchup’s shadows but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. What do you think?

    • @SophiaYin1
      @SophiaYin1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can still build your model in rhino, and just search how to import rhino model to sketch up and you’re all good to go

    not to be rude but is there any benefit to doing this in Photoshop as opposed to say Illustrator, as if you were gonna print this vector is always better imo

    • @LearnUpstairs
      @LearnUpstairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Nathan! I agree with you, if you're going to print this in high-quality, Illustrator is better.
      But then you can create the Photoshop file as big as you can to make sure you've got plenty of pixels. Or if it's only going to stay in the digital world, photoshop is enough.
      But if I have time I always go through Illustrator first and link the .Ai file into Photoshop to get the best of both programs

      Tem legenda em Português sim! Eu faço questão de colocar em todos os videos que puder. As vezes quando é uma live ou um video longo de 1h é impossivel criar legenda porque demora muito para criar. Eu faço videos em inglês pra atingir o maior número de pessoas possível e tentar ajudar mais do que só os brasileiros, mas faço questão de colocar legenda também.
