Wore these for a year 3/4x a week 2hours intense indoors only. Best shoe iv ever worn. I'm a big guy, with big sore knees and a horrible heal injury once. I feel just pure comfort. Knees no longer hurt and my heel feels like a heel should 😅 iv wore them out but still usable a year later. A bit of sole came off but not to effect it. First time ever iv went and bought another colourway of the same shoe. I'm gt jump for life now.
The outside pads are there to protect you from clanking ankles with other folks in the paint I think
Hey Sammy can you make a video of which best shoe that could possibly be the best responsive shoe for a 4 guard I move around alot & do alot of cutting for mid range jump shots ,
Sammy would you say this is the best impact protection on a performance basketball sneakers right now?
how does this compare to the OG Jump? the cushion looks a lot less bouncy and more mushy to me.

I got 3 pairs of the orginal GT jump they fit tight just worn one of them to work. I got them true to size and its a narrow shoe. Im done with GT line.

Can you even feel the strobel with those zoom pods and react on the bottom?
First one had 3 issues: running like in work boots as they were so high and restrict achilles movement, second is that plastic protruding at the back (I slid and fall pretty hard going for one-foot layup), and lastly upper at the front was ripped by others stepping over. Nike accepted return. Now these are sort of mid cut and hopefully less restrictive, but other 2 issues seems still there?

Got 2 37 lows, Zion 2s- 🔥🔥💪wide and nimble to me, and Luka1s- love Formula 23, but these are next- love React foam in my running sneaks
Do you think i can use these outside? For walking etc? With out them having hole in them super fast due to soft traction?
for walking??? no. but for playing outdoors, sure.
Hi guys, I need some advise and would like to know which shoes are best for dusty indoor courts. My 12 year old plays basketball and the court here in Sydney, Australia where my son plays and train are neglected and slippery.
We've switched from Kyrie Infinity to the Zion 2 and Melo 2.0 and its just painful seeing my child skating on the court 😂

I think you better sugest them to mop the floor before training, no shoes can withstand a dusty court, eventuality the dust will build up in the sole

I just don’t understand why good traction isn’t consistent. Why? They know how to make it. There never should be 1 shoe has great traction and 1 doesn’t.

This is exactly what I don’t understand too. They must know by now the formula that makes elite traction, since some shoes have it. Why not just make all shoes have that traction??? No one cares what the bottom of their shoes look like, we just don’t want to slip on the court

They are very comfortable but don't recommend it for a PG or SG they are a bit high and don't feel light
Feels more of a casual shoe. I feel it's too high for basketball. It is bouncey... but i notice it sinks on the outer heel of shoes when walking. Heel needs to be more firm. I'm 2E wide ... and I got to say this model is true to size... but I bought .5 up... but I shouldn't have, because shoe is heavy.. and the toe box becomes longer. Definitely the bounciest' feeling shoe I ever bought. Final verdict nice tech shoe... better than the 1st one which going up .5 is recommended for 2E wide feet.. 1st high top is cut narrow

Shoes are blurring the lines now between running and hoop shoes. Looks like a mid runner and super comfy. Probably stick with my normal rotation until the price comes down, Great review Sammy 💯
Right seems like it could be a runner too i agree. If they make lows i'll cop but i doubt it cuz theres the gt cut which is their lows i think, i'm waiting for the cut3 and run2
@@nassiglutt6587be aware that they changed the name of the “G.T. Run” to “G.T. Hustle”. They did so to remove the confusion of it being an actual “running shoe”.

@@ArchitMoharir still great. i rotate playing them as my indoor bball shoes with the new devin booker shoes which also feel great but a tad bit lighter (but less cushion)

I need some advice which shoe should i choose between tatum 1 lamelo 2 or lebron next gen.
next gen. Lebron line always have good cushioning. But recommend trying on instore since Nike keeps cutting the mid section of shoes narrow
The nike lebron's Next generation are really good. I would go up a 1/2 size. Your foot will not slip around in these if they fit you good. Awesome cushioning Very light awesome shoe
Bought me a pair its a heavy shoe but it is comfortable, nice and bouncy. I would definitely recommend for volleyball players as well.

It's a big man shoe... there are not many shoes for us anymore
To be clear, it is designed for people who rebound and fight in the paint... and yes, bogs have become much more versatile... but still nice to have shoes thar aren't made for guards
No one else has the issue of the flywire cutting into their ankle?...I mean it goes right across your ankle and cuts it like a razor blade

I’m a fast quick guard and this will be my next shoe (on sale of course lol). Cushionings always bottom out some if you’re playing hard, so by the time this shoe is broken in the full length Zoom will sit lower, as well as the React.
I personally think court feel is overrated and I’m still plenty quick with higher cushioned shoes. I’m also 36, 5’11” and 206-208lbs (depending on the day) so I need all the cushioning for my knees.
I agree, court feel is overrated. As long as the shoe doesn’t feel unstable, I’m good. Turning 40 I’m 6’2 190ish,I lift and run a lot besides hooping, I like more impact protection. I will get these eventually, on sale lol

Does this one give you more impact protection than lets say the lebron 17s?
They give you non-durable rubber so you have to buy multiple pairs

You younger players want lighter more breathable materialed shoes, then gonna complain when they give you the strongest possible lightest, most breathable material!😮 If they went back with 90's build, i.e. leathers, nubucks etc., then you'll complain that, "they're too heavy, too hot!!"😂 Make up your mind.

@@grabs_you5954 I think everything is night and day better, the jump 1’s are decent, but the 2’s are possibly the best shoe ever imo! I do weigh 230lbs though, so if you’re light like sammy, you might feel differently!!
@@grabs_you5954the react heel cushion in gt jump 2 is higher means softer in absorbing impact. The forefoot cushion zoom pods also thicker. Great cushions for players wanting to protect knees.
Nike really needs to be better on the rubbers they use, they have durable rubbers they can use like any jordan retro proves that they still make good rubber they just dont use it
They’re getting cheaper and cheaper as time goes on, I’m done with Nike.
