    While I own both the 900xplus & u3000 so far both has their ups & downs. Blackvue it was good drop ball with the silly redesign plus being left in car with high 90s up heat kinda knocks a point down cause it will either turn off or restart the camera not for thinkware end. Thinkware they dropped the ball big time not having a item like the cm100 or having it come with lte slot having to rely on a third-party hotspot is annoying if you forget to charge the 3rd party hotspot it could die & then you're outta luck

      Love to hear this hands-on experience Captain!!! I encourage anyone watching the video to take this feedback into account.

      So which one you would suggest for someone like me not using the cloud/phone service?. I just want to record who hit me on parking mode day/night mode or having a car accident. So I can just pull the SD card and report 😅

    Try to register our new Thinkware camera. Keep the "check the number error" ... even if i input the numbers manually i get same results.

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I understand how frustrating registration issues can be. To better assist you, could you please let me know which Thinkware model you have? If you have a Q1000 or U3000, you might find this video tutorial helpful: th-cam.com/video/q12GzbN0IXE/w-d-xo.html.
      If you're still encountering errors or have a different model, it's best to reach out to Thinkware support directly at cs01@mondosystem.com. They should be able to help you resolve the issue.

    So on the Blackvue Free plan, i can only access the remote live view on ONE dash cam? So if i have a forward facing camera and a cabin or even a rear facing camera i won’t be able to access those specific cameras on my account because i’m only limited to 1?
    Or does the exterior and rear camera count as ONE dash cam setup since it’s a 2ch?

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! With the BlackVue Free Plan, you can access the remote Live View for one dash cam setup. If you have a 2-channel setup (front and rear cameras) or even a 3-channel setup, it still counts as one dash cam setup. So, you will be able to access the Live View for all the connected cameras in your setup under the Free Plan. If you need to manage multiple separate dash cam setups, you might want to consider their paid plans.

    The Thinkware T700 has an integrated LTE module and battery voltage control to prevent it from discharging

      It does! Unfortunately it has yet to be introduced to the western market, so we are still waiting.

    Thank you for the informative videos. I am using the U3000 (without a hotspot at this time). Do you have a recommendation on a hotspot service that will work well with the U3000?

      Glad it was helpful! Consider a mi-fi hotspot

    How much do you have to pay to have that blackvue mobile hotspot to be able to use the cloud?

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The BlackVue Cloud itself has a free cloud plan that works for 90% of users. If you are using a BlackVue SIM card for that internet connection, it starts at $11 a month. Find more information on those plans here: blackvue.com/sim/

    Will the Thinkware connect to my home and work Wifi while parked and upload to the cloud?

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that's fully possible with Thinkware or BlackVue systems! You'll need to park in-range of the wifi connection of course, and add the wifi connections information in the app

    2:54 After noting older Thinkware cams access a different cloud service this segment makes it seam like older blackvue cams can not access any cloud.

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, sorry about that, that was not our intention! I can confirm that all previous 900, and 750 BlackVue models are cloud-ready, with the same cloud service style.

    What app do you need on the iphone to just adjust the settings or look at a file. I don't want cloud or any other service, just for my phone to talk with the U3000.

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need the Thinkware Dash Cam Link App, you can find our guide on it here: th-cam.com/video/JczwkEqpNtE/w-d-xo.html

    With Thinkware (u3000), if connected to a hotspot while parked and using the energy saving parking modes, can we still get push notifications and a clip uploaded to the cloud?
    As I have understood it, there is no wifi data when using energy saving parking mode for remote live view.
    But, again, what about push notifications/ clips in case of impact??

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately when using energy saving mode, cloud features will be disabled to conserve power. The cloud will still work in standard impact and motion detection.
      So no push notifications or cloud clips, all footage will still be stored on the camera itself.

  • @kennethl4172
    @kennethl4172 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks Broseph, does the cloud feature available for the older Blackview DR900S-2CH?
    I've noticed that it will connect when I am close to a Shaw/Rogers GoWiFi but not when I am on the go.
    Is there a setting I need to set for constant cloud connect?

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  ปีที่แล้ว

      No problem. I can confirm that this cloud feature, and all BlackVue cloud features discussed are available for the BlackVue DR900S, minus the CM100 LTE module, which cannot connect to S series models.
      To set a constant cloud connection with these models, you will need a constant wifi source that moves along with your camera, in the vehicle, such as a mobile hotspot.

    Wait let me get this straight, if i own a thinkware U3000 & it’s not connected to a hotspot while parked & someone hits my car will it still record it or not?

    • @blackboxmycar
      @blackboxmycar  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh, it will definitely still record while not connected to the internet, both cameras will function like that. However, without an internet connection, you will not be notified until you return to the vehicle.
