This is a beautiful duet. This song is from the animated 1986 film "An American Tail". Linda also did a great duet with Aaron Neville "Don't Know Much". Linda Ronstadt is one of the best female singers & can sing any genre from ballads to country to rock & even opera.
Linda actually recorded four duets together with Aaron Neville for her album "Cry Like a Rainstorm, Howl Like the Wind". Another fabulous duet they did for that was their rendition of "When Something Is Wrong with My Baby".

Love this one. It came out when I was about 17. My father had died when I was 14, and this song always made me think of him. Especially when I was going away to college, wishing he could be sort of "coaching" me on this brand-new adventure. I missed him. But I would hear this song, think of him, and remember he was still "somewhere out there." It soothed my heart.
These two gorgeous voices sound amazing together. Linda could sing anything with anybody and it would sound heavenly. This was their only duet but she did several songs with Aaron Neville. Please check out “All My Life” with Linda and Aaron blending their angelic voices. Anything from Linda will be great. Merry Christmas honey. 🎄✌️🎄🌺🎄

And they really kept this low-key with their voices. They really held back, and could've truly shown their range if they wanted to. It was there but they kept it reserved. Would've liked to see a little more power when it was there for the taking.
