I draw Anthros all the time mainly because they're much easier for me to draw, and because animals have always been my go-to for art. I personally don't identify myself as a furry. I just like to draw them.

Man those clips from the paddle pop movie brought back memories, have you seen the little competitions they used to have? Those where the bomb I used to but some from the 4 square just to see if I could win it (which I never did.)

So I understand why some people hate furries. But not all of them are like this.
I remember when you used to make MLP skit videos, I loved them when I was little. I check your channel every once in a while and it's surprised me how far you've come and how much your content and channel has improved and changed- your videos are brilliant, keep making cool stuff! I absolutely adore your art style btw, but if you wanna give the sprites a little extra detail maybe add shadows? Just a tip, but do whatever you like, it's not necessary since I think it's pretty great as it is right now.
Actually! Your first oc is anthropomorphic. Of course not as strongly as other other anthropomorphic characters but they express facial expressions that is a human characteristics.
But this doesn't mean you're a furry, giving your animal character human characteristics is more of an artist thing too.
Drawing animals feral and anthropomorphic was a big part of me becoming a better artist and having the inspiration to draw. I just drew an anthro for an art trade, but the last time I drew one before that was in September. I use to draw them all the time, but I've been sticking to drawing humans or normal animals lately. Actually.. I go a several months between finished drawings. I don't know if I ever considered myself a furry, even though I enjoyed drawing them and had oc's. Even now anthropomorphic animals inspire me, like Animal Crossing and other people's art that just happens to be furry art.

Finally someone talked about this on a decent level of understanding and personal feeling when it comes to the furry fandom. I both love and hate it due to some people push it to far while others likes to stay on the good side where it's mostly the drawings and great story writing or seeing adorable art what kids draw of there favorite character. I personally am a furry but I knew the bad side before I knew the good side of it like how i got into anime (mostly slice of life) where the first few episodes are based on fetishes or trys to make people stay to watch the real reason of the show it self so in a short mix up with that to furries I believe you got to know the dark side before you can understand what part of the furry fandom you like. It's basically like what anime is your favorite or something to that point. Some one likes lollis and others don't due to their size and child like character.

I always draw my oc characters with animal ears and tail. Sometimes I even draw made up animals and put a whole description of what they can and can't do as if they were a real animal. 3:52 DOES THAT MAKE ME A FURRY??!!

Alright here’s my long opinion on why I dislike furries. Don’t have any hate towards this, it’s my opinion and respect it.
Reason 1: Throughout many years we seen furries, I’ve seen why people have hate them. Some people seem to be weirded out by these people cause of the cosplay and the actions.
Reason 2: What I’ve noticed about furries is that not all of them are bad, but what brought them down and made them hated by the internet was the majority of them in the group. People claimed that “Furries were actually pretty cool, but they ended up being taken advantage around 2016. Around 2016, people were actually disguising as furries and raping kids. This is when there reputation was no longer trusted by several people, and why they actually left the group. But I feel like all of this drama that happened in the past, I don’t want any part of it anymore.” -Said by a long time ago furry fan.
Reason 3/My last reason: Overall, furries throughout the years have lost reputation cause of the tragic events that happened in the past. That being said, furries been through a lot. But furries also traumatized many people.
Conclusion: People still like furries, but the thing is it’s not the good furries that brought down the community. It was the bad people, who traumatized many others. And when one person does something drastic in the group, it’ll effect there reputation for the rest of there’s lives. End of my opinion.

YES!! People pay more attention to the bad part of the fandom and hate on all furries, even the good ones. I myself am a furry and I actually used to not like furries because I only knew about the bad side... But I found a video on TH-cam of someone playing around in a fursuit and it was.. ADORABLE!!! Furries are awesome and people shouldn't judge the entire community based on the bad part.. which I am not a part of whatsoever.

With the anthro hooves thing, I just draw hooves AS hands. Like, it's still a hoof, but it's able to grab things because it has a thumb. That's just how I do it at least.

youre only a furry if you like furry things and call yourself one, people can enjoy the art style and the craft in the suits but not be into the furry life. if you dont wish to be one then youre not one you just respect them and their style but if you wanna join their community then you can be/are one but id say you just like the style and are a fan of their work but dont identify as one and thats fine either way as long as you dont harm anyone or animals it doesnt matter

I remember that 2011 thunder cats, and I would watch it everyday before bed (it aired at like 22:30 something) and I was obsessed with that show, I would draw oc’s and play pretend with my friends. It was just a lot of fun, i don’t know if I’m right but I think that furries are just people that still having fun in that way, I can admit it’s sometimes a bit weird to come across porn of it, but for the most part I’m like “you do you”

Dressing up in human-animal costumes, acting like animals, wanting to be an animal so bad that you act like one most of the time not even as a joke
*What **_isn't_** a furry:*
Making animal noises (like "Grr" and "Bakawk") as a joke or because you don't want to talk to people, roleplaying as animals in animal simulator games because you think they look cool (mostly children do that one), wanting to know what it feels lile to be a certain type of animal

Oh my god, Paddle pops. I started laughing so much my friend next to me asked me what was so funny, what Paddle pops are and why I knew what they are. So I told her that Paddle pops were sold under a different name until a few years ago (I don't know the name anymore). She was so confused and ask her mother. Her mother told her that I was right.
Hooved Fuzzies have the choice of Hoof hands (three fingers, each is either glove, rubber or some other kind of hard thing hh) or just paws, which don't really look bad. Angel Dragons can be like that since they are horse based (i.e. some have hoof pheets and some don't).
Horse furrys have hoof hands. Its separated into 3 sections for the fingers that look like hoofs. So still looks like a horse, or reindeer without creepy human hands. And can still pick up stuff.
