I totally agree but I’m wondering if she’s been denied a treat, the opportunity to stay up later or the ability to go outside to play because she’s being disciplined. The father says that she’s disrespectful and unruly and the mother never disputed that. Yes she’s four but this is when appropriate discipline starts. If he is miss treating that child off GP though, he needs the brakes beat off him immediately

First episode hit Home. I was 4 when my mother told she didn't love me and ignored me from that day on. Then you have people, like on the second episode, dying to be someone's parent. I am an adult now. Yet would have traded all my wordly possessions for a loving family. Nothing is more valuable.

I share your sentiments. My mother abandoned me before I turned two years old and I was raised by my father and his first wife. I was sexually abused by my house sisters 50 something year old boyfriend at the age of 10 for a few hundred dollars per month in our home. I was starved, beaten, neglected and horrifyingly miss treated by people who claimed to love me. While I am an adult and I am now raising my own 16-year-old son, I still struggle with feelings of self worth and thoughts of whether or not someone can truly love me thanks to my own flipping mother. Some women don’t deserve to give birth and some men don’t deserve to help create life. I will be praying for you and know that none of that was your fault. I’m sure you’re a great person and that you have the potential to touch others to help them become great. Use the gift that you have to continue to draw people to you and to continue to encourage them to be the best that they can. You are awesome

The little girl is 4 years old...she seemed sincere..and the man did say that she was rebellious?? So he had to punish her accordingly?? The way he said it full resentment...and then at the end when the DNA showed she was really his daughter..he was crying..saying he was going to change how he treated her!! So that told me...he had been showing favoritism..and was making her feel inferior in regards to her other siblings. Children know..they feel when someone do not care about them. Shame on the Mother for being selfish and playing games.

I was wondering if he was denying her extra snacks, not allowing her to stay up a little later with her siblings or if she was being denied the opportunity to go outside and play because of her being bad.
