I know a young lady like that. Like this one , she needs someone to empower her. To help her belive in herself. Thinking you have to belive the first person that tells you your beautiful and fall into that trap. Heart wrenching. There needs to be programs out there for your women to rise them up and teach them their value. To show them how to know the difference from someone who truly likes you and not just use you. I was hopping she would send her to dr Jeff like some others. I hope she can find her way in the world .

You forgot, a man that's 48 year old had no business bringing his momma with him to court. A hot sizzling mess. Maybe because she knows she'll be paying the child support. Anywho, the young girl seems a bit off so he took advantage of her in more ways than one.
I wish that young lady in that case would’ve seen how beautiful she was and smart and forwarded herself and I hope she does and a career that can support her and her daughter and she doesn’t need no man in her life. Because she’s good enough for herself, I pray she finds a good career and something she enjoys in life that brings her peace within herself that she’s good enough on her own.

He’s struggling, but still making babies. His momma needs to sit down and let him deal with his own mess. Momma wasn’t in the bedroom, so keep her out of the court room.

When the young lady was asked the 1st question, the predator and his mama went straight after her and then I was surprised when Judge said she didn't answer because she was lying? I've seen her show much more compassion to dead beat disrespectful men than she did in this case. Sad day.

She said in the beginning she was sure he was the father but the Judge didn't believe her and accused her of lying which was dead wrong and Judge Lake never apologized but pushed a vulnerable young lady into saying she really didn't know. That's what I call a person taking advantage of someone they know is not mature and has shut down for whatever reason. That's why we pray to God to let us live to see our kids get grown and mature so that people just like them including Judge Lake won't take a complete advantage over them.

I think the second case the girl was socially awkward, anxious and possibly in the spectrum... I think she may have been living a disfunctional life but I don't think she was lying the judge was wrong for how she tried to back her into a corner to confess she was lying when the girl was sure.

In the case of the second girl, I felt really bad when the judge said she didn't believe her simply because she shut down. I don't think she is good at expressing herself. I am like that also. I am not defensive and I tend to withdraw in the face of accusation. I am glad she got the results in her favour. The judge could have done better to accommodate and give her the confidence she needed.

The judge was dead wrong period. The case just started and the girl was being talked down by the mother of the father. The judge needs to stop these grandmothers with all this negative talk. That man is more then 2x this young woman's age he did not need an additional person in court to talk mess about her.

2nd case: Why is she telling that woman she wasn't mature enough to testify, but that 48 year old man brought his mama with him to court! Yelling at her like that. I believe she knew who was the father, but "confessed" at the end to get the judge off her back. Just the way she shook her head when she said it.

Judge was wrong for accusing the young lady of being a liar. Everyone is NOT as readable as they look! That confession at the end looked forced.
No it didn’t. The judge was right, you could tell by her facial expressions that she knew she had reason to doubt. You could tell if was a lie when judge first asked if there was another option and the way she said no. It’s so crazy how different people read situations so much differently. Everyone might not be readable but as a judge who has been doing what she does for a very long time she can read people pretty well and it way very obvious by what she was saying the the expressions the woman was trying to hold in.
Exactly it made me so angry. She needs better education with reading mentally disabled people. My daughter has extreme social anxiety and can barely speak to strangers, and would sound/act exactly like this woman if she was in court! And what makes it worse is that loser predator was using his mom to help defend him, and that poor girl was all alone with the judge being so rude. She wasn't lying about anything, she couldn't speak.

I think the real reason is because they talk to the staff in the back beforehand and say things they don't want to admit on tv but the judge is still wrong for forcing her card then calling her a liar. If she doesn't want the world to know that's her right. Also, people who want to be accepted and naive are easily persuade into telling a people pleasing lie. She probably KNEW he was her baby dad and the DNA seems to back up her claims

2nd case: This the only case I disagreed with the judge on. This young girl was definitely struggling and the judge didn’t read that. She really wasn’t supportive of her 🥲

The judge was absolutely wrong in that second case. She was attacking the girl, the girl was already attacked by the man, and his mama. Judge Lake was doing too much to make her say she didn't know who the father was.. but for what she was already in paternity court. And not because she didn't know but because the nosey grandmother felt the baby didn't look like her nasty mouth self. Judge Lake failed to uplift this young lady she failed her.

Second case, This is the first episode I am kind of disappointed with the judge. Life is hard and I think that old man took advantage of that young lady. I think she is young minded and very sensitive. The world is already tough and probably holding her down. I think she needed more encouragement.

I am a mother of 2 adult men. I really can't stand when a mother comes into court with a grown and in this case 40 year old man, talking about she knows her son is not the father. Momma you Don't know!!!!!!!

Case two: This dude is 48 years old and he has his momma speaking up for him and fighting his battles. Unbelievable!
It's honestly gross that near enough middle aged men...go after very young women, in many instances, they're not even women yet. Gross and predatory.

She was a child or near-as, and if she was willing (or desperate) enough to live with a strange adult man immediately after meeting him, then she likely already had significant trauma or at the very least was significantly vulnerable. He was in his 40s. She was barely an adult, at most.

The lady in 2nd part, totally lacked self confidence. Even though she had stayed in older man's house for 3 months, but couldn't bring herself to stand up against the judge and say she was sure who the father was.
I agree. I think she most likely has anxiety or simply was too nervous to speak. Judge Lauren was way too harsh on her. It's clear that she was already vulnerable as a 17 year old living with her ex boyfriend when this predator picked her up in his car.
Predators like him purposely target vulnerable individuals. I was so upset with the judge jumping on the abuse train with the predator and his enabler mother.

I hope the judge apologized to the 2nd lady. She was nasty to her for no reason and was light on the man. He’s 48 and she’s 21! Where’s the anger towards him! I’m disappointed in her!
The first case couple was a mess! They also look so young too. Why bring kids into such disfunction.
2nd case: that child looked just like him. Had his eyes. His Mama was TRIPPING tripping! 😁 I think that when she shut down, it wasn’t for doubt, but the fact that she was being double team by this older man AND his Mama

Second Case - Man and his mama attack her verbally. Shame on them. He needs mama to protect him. 5 kids and mama was there for every conception. This old hat took advantage of her. Mama should be embarrassed!! What a hot mess Trifling.

He is a predator. And the mother saying that a 21 year old (at the time 18 or less year old) took advantage of her 48 years old son (45 at that moment)????? That is just insane! And his mother said that she is a hold digger? The mother thinks that her son coming to curt at 48 with his mother means that he is or posses “gold”? He was scared of a 21 year old girl that he took advantage of? To say that that is Pathetic is too little.
Yes he is a predator, he was 45 year old (the child is 3) and the girl maybe was not even 18 years old and she told him she just had a fight with her boyfriend SO he knew she was very young (possibly underage) and vulnerable AND that knowledge screams he is a predator knowingly taking advantage of a vulnerable possibile underage girl!
The mother showing herself at court with her 48 year old predator son is just prove she is clueless of how poor job she did as a parent when your 48 year old son is a predator and needs her mama in curt with him.
One of the worse things in this video is how the judge was addressing the young girl. The young girl was at 21 alone in court (17 at the time of the facts) and on the other side of the court a 48 years old with the “moral” support of his mother, and judge felt appropriate to rake that tone with the girl? That was not ok and not helping.
At paternity court comes girls that at 21 has even 3, 4 children (often 1 a year a year and a half) and this girl at 21 has 1 daughter of almost 4 years SO compared to the 90% of girls in this court she is not comparable. Judge was not really fair to her. My free opinion
Second case weird. He was creeping on a 17 18 year old girl in his 40s ghee come on now. And his mom needs to sit down. It’s her fault for raising him like that.
She reminds me so much of my daughter. My daughter is 21 and intellectually disabled. I feel that she would shut down too in a situation like this. I wish she had someone there supporting her. I pray for her and that little girl
I really don’t see how the judge couldn’t notice something was wrong with the girl in the second case I was sick of his momma man like girl teach his old self to stop dealing with younger women and help the momma out

I’m the second case the woman was definitely shy or anxious . I believe she truly knew who the father was but was pressured into saying otherwise it was very awkward to watch. She was definitely taken advantage of I hope she’s doing much better now.
Uch, the ending made me cry for her. She was so scared and it was all over her body that she didn't feel comfortable or knew what to do or say.
That second case: A grown man and his mother, that girl who is still shy, must get more nervous. The young girl should have her parents on both side to build her confidence. I'm sorry Judge Lake didn't let the man's mother sit down as she was talking even when the judge addressed her son. Poor young girl...
My brother in that situation...Married (I really don't know her ) live with his girlfriend (I call sister in law). That situation is beyond me BUT THE CHILDREN ARE MY BROTHERS. All 3 look like our mother
