when I finally got to battle arven at the end of the titan hunts I was very under leveled, and he pulled out all these pokémon that destroyed me, and all I could think was “WHERE WERE ALL THESE POKÉMON WHEN WE WERE FIGHTING THE TITANS”

My favorite moment in this vein was when I was in area zero and Iron treads attacks (may have been iron bundle, i forget exactly) and Nemona just one shots it with her Lycanroc before anyone gets a chance to do anything. Nemona, where's this energy when we battle?!
i loved playing this game all over the place. the only real order restriction being your strategy and levels. added some fun challenge getting to gyms or titans and struggling or losing to them and having to come back. once they patch the bugs and everything this game will be amazing

I had no idea that beating gyms meant making catching high level pokemon would be easier until I took on like a 57 dodonzo and it WOULD. NOT. STAY. IN THE BALL pissed me off lol then I was like "ohhhhhhhhhh. TIME TO GRIND!" lol
love this game I got smacked around so hard so many times. It reminded me what a real challenge is like. I love Skeledirge, but next run throughs I'm gonna go with Quaxly then Sprigatito.

When I found out the professor was actually DEAD all along I was extremely surprised. The 3 stories in this game (while pretty cliche and meh) are a LOT better than most previous games. BW/B2W2 stories are probably number 1 but this is a close second

Nemona seems to have picked the weak one because the second typing of the final Evo of each starter is better against anothers (or because we are a new trainer and she's a champion ranked trainer)

About Sprigatito's evolution line, I already knew it would stand cause why wouldn't they take that route, but I was actually worried it might become too girly like say Primarina, but once I saw those evolutions, oh man I knew what my choice for the next run would be, I mean seriously Meowscarada looks so cool, like a Masquerade who fights evil from the darkness of night. And since it starts off as a super cute Kitty, oh my goodness this evolution line has close to one of my favorite starters, who are mostly fire/fighting types. That's right I said it, this evolution line has gotten close to my number 1 favorite Infernape.
Took sprigatito from the start, and resettet 4 times to get a female so my nickname for it would fit its gender. Named it Catanna, a mix from Cat and Zatanna from DC
