- Join Roberta (Bert) and Greg on a sixteen day road trip through eight states that include Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky and Ohio! Today we'll walk/drive the historic and quaint Eureka Springs, Arkansas. See Victorian buildings and homes along with the beautiful Crescent Hotel. We'll also check out Christ of the Ozarks statue!

It was so awesome to see and the whole area is just beautiful. We really enjoyed staying in Branson and seeing great, clean entertainment. Then Eureka Springs was so unique. Gorgeous there. Never seen or heard of Christ statue that big there.
Very interesting video love the trees. I was in Arkansas the same weekend as hurricane Katrina i didnt have time to explore i was on delivery

The Christ statue can be seen for miles. They do passion plays there in the summer at the amphitheater there. Great country and people!

It looks like it, so beautiful. I will be close to the USA today. I should be directly across the lake from Erie Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania dutch settled where I live in Canada.
I buy berries maple syrup and fruit from them.

We have traveled to all 50 states and enjoyed many of them over and over. We will be in Texas on our next road trip but we have three cruises booked and we just got home from one yesterday. Thanks! Texas is great but Utah is loaded with great places to visit and The National Parks are amazing. We did a three week drive trip last early fall and we have been posting that trip in segments so keep watching us!

My husband and I took our cat Zoey to see the Christ statue, because she walked on a harness and loved going outside. But when we got to the statue, she hissed at it😳 my husband and I are both christians and had a devil cat I guess 😄 she was fun though. We Miss her every day.
Maybe Zoey was also a Christian but just never thought Christ looked like that. 😆 We are Christians too and always warms our hearts to see anything these days that honors Christ. Thank you so your sweet comment and for watching! 🐾✝️
Thank you! We’re actually going on vacation and will be in Eureka springs. This time, bringing our little dog. Hopefully he won’t be intimidated by Jesus☺️ I am actually hoping that once we retire, that we can stay in an apartment above one of the shops downtown there for a few months, during the summer. @@AuthorFawnYoung When you are there and if you haven’t seen Branson yet, we highly recommend seeing that town as there is soooooo much entertainment that is awesome and wholesome and things to do. The plays at the Sight and Sound theater are Christian and I would go there just for that alone. Fabulous staging, acting and lots of animals involved in the play.
We will be visiting Branson on our way back from Wisconsin where my son is getting married! My husband and I live in Texas, so this is a 2 week road trip! So looking forward to it! Can you recommend a place that was your favorite in Branson?
@@AuthorFawnYoung Of course the Sight and Sound Theater, Dolly Parton’s Stamped, The Titanic and the group called ~ Six. They are brothers who sing together and are so entertaining.
We love Eureka Springs and try to go once a year. There is plenty to do, that's for sure. The only thing I don't like is the fact everybody there has there hand out for a tip. It doesn't matter what you do, there's always a tip jar in every business. We even went into the Chamber of Commerce to ask questions and sure enough, a tip jar on the counter. Other than that, I'd recommend going here and checking it out. Nice video and thanks for posting!!
