The SNES version is slow, due to the processor, although the graphics are slightly better. The Genesis version is fluid which makes it more fun in my opinion.
@@Bloodreign1 that's dumb, it's not the main thing yes but the game isn't very great to begin with so they need the style to build up the game. This game needed the style because it lacks substance. This version may have slightly better control but it's still just a simple beat um up so you need the music and graphics to be good to hold it together and the SNES version does that.
LJN never made a game in their existence, they put out games for smaller software houses. Sometimes they would bring a Japanese made game over, like Taito's stuff (Taito had closed their US offices down by this point) as well.
If you don't mind the ear rape sound effects or ear piercing music thanks to the GEMS sound driver. I'd rather play something that sounds smoother to the ears, like the SNES version, or if I have to play a Genesis game, a Japanese game with far superior sound drivers than what is heard in this video.
This looks extremely different from the Maximum Carnage game I played when I was little. The one I played started in some sort of park and I also had a SEGA. Were there two versions of this game?
