had mine for about 3 months now, have to agree on the chin vent, whenever I reach for it, it's closed. Only other gripe is that the main visor has quite a large opening on it's "smallest opening" setting so the bottom rim sits a bit too high in my vision. Love the drop down sun visor though, moves comfortably over my glasses and all round coverage means no sun beams leak in. Very comfortable fit. Full day of riding and no pressure points getting sore and the visor allows for a nice wide field of vision.
Decent upload mate. I'm about to buy one of these. I own a Shark Race R Pro Carbon, Shark Race R Pro an AGV 1, Nolan N60 and a HJC flip. Shark is a quality lid. Apart from being made in France...I don't see a negative. 😄
I had the same problem with my chin vent. But i found out they are replaceable with the ones from the first D-Skwal model. The old ones are way better and you can get them for around 6.- online. Would definitely recommend doing this!
In my experience the visor has a huge design flaw. The hinges where it clicks into the helmet are very weak. My visor has snapped twice now. The latest time the hinge snapped just when I was riding my bike and trying to open the visor slightly. Don’t forget that a new visor is around $50. So this is no joke. If it wasn’t for that huge flaw this helmet and the previous generation would be very strong additions to the helmet market.
Had exactly the same issue on my SKWAL V1.9, it snapped just trying to remove the Visor. I do like the fit though and currently looking at the Shark Skwal 2.2 Noxxys.
What's the fitment like with this helmet. Should u order to the size chart. I'm 57.25cm which says I should go for a M but don't know should I just get the L
The size chart is pretty accurate, mine was on the border of S and M and I went with the smaller S size, you generally want the fit to be a bit tight and it worked out fine.
what about the cheeks ?I feel like sb pushes my cheeks .In the shop they told me that its gonna fit to the head and take its shape so they gonna open and it gonna be more comfy
Hi, it does push the cheeks a bit. Over time it takes a bit of shape and sits more comfortable. But you also want it to be tight (not overly tight) but it should hold firmly.
Don't buy one, the hinges break. I've got through three visors in the past 18 months. The visors are really weak and at 40 quid a shot you'd do better getting something other than a Shark. Absolute rubbish!
I have never had any problems with my Shark Skwal 2 Nukem after almost a year now. Great helmet and very comfortable. The safety features are a huge plus. Had drivers informing me that if they had not noticed the LEDs they would have rear ended me. I guess that's a plus

Forgot to mention: you'll lose the LEDs doing this. But since u're not using them anyways 🤷🏼
I have really weird helmt sizes Head M chin S but the Skwal 2 in S fits pretty good. Main reason why I chose this helmet

I've heard this from other people too. Could well put me off, sadly
Is that suitable for MotoVlogging?
Hi. Yes, I have not used it myself but it should work very well.
Great review!

@@MDvanDyk hope that after i wear it 5 10 times it becomes more comfy to my cheeks thanks pal greetings from greece
Warning: Music at intro is FECKING LOUD. >:O
How about the wind noise?
It has very minimal wind noise, with the visor down it seals very well. Also with the chin skirt and the thick neck rolls it helps a lot.
@@MDvanDyk thanks it help a lot.
Are there any wind noises you can tell me about if you bought the helmet?
seriously another video of helmet without putting it on you HEAD?
Please watch the unboxing video, this is only a review after use.
