REAL VS FAKE DISNEY PINS (How to tell)

We gathered a few authentic and fake versions of these Disney Pins and compared them side by side! Hopefully this is helpful for any new pin traders!

i bought a sealed tsum tsum pack from mercari and when i checked the pins they had those 'scrapper lines' does that mean you can get fake sealed pins too?

Official Disney pins still have brush lines on them, they are just less prevalent. They will be very obvious on lower quality pins. As far as fake pins inside sealed packages, we have not experienced any but they’re constantly putting new fakes out there

Hm.. I have only bought loungefly and boxlunch pins so far but they have the scratch lines…. I thought these were considered good quality though. 🤔

When did the fake pins become a problem? I have a pin of vintage pins…2008-2010 and the don’t have waffling, prongs or serial numbers. None are sunken in at least.

If you get them right from the parks, will they all be real (it sounds like a real stupid question 😅)
