Have a 2020 yfz 450, it did the same thing. Was riding about a week ago and then died on me. It would crank but the fuel pump was not turning on. I have been checking all the fuses and relays and everything is working. I will check to the fuel pump. Thanks for the video, been searching all over for some answers. Don't have the money to take it to the shop right now. This was a big help!!
Hi, can you post a link to fuel pump. I have same issue. Bike cranks but won’t start. No sound of pump priming. Checked the fuses all Ok. Relay is clicking.
@@sandman700r8without a doubt.. comparing older models to the newer ones I've noticed a lot of cut corners and cheaper pot metal being used on these machines.. considering there 10-13k new it should have top shelf everything..
I don't think it might fuel pump related not to sure but I think 43 means low voltage so could be low battery or some other electric issue i would try putting a voltmeter on it
Took me about an hour once you remove the blue plastic tab at the bottom the pump slides out just be sure you disconnect the wires that go to the pump first

I've had the same motor fuel pump etc since 08.. I see a lot of issue with the newer ones in my shop..
Seen it alot to I think its a factory defect

I have a 2019 also and the pump is not priming, but then i put it on my friend 08 and was working fine. what el could be?

Hi. I did the same swap on my raptor but ever since then I'm getting Error 43. The bike is running fine though. Should I be worried?

I have a 2019 yfZ and when I switch from 2nd to 3rd it shuts off and i dont know why :( thinking its the fuel pump aswell
Not to familiar with yfz but wouldn't hurt to pull out the pump and look at the sock first and try swapping the fuel regulator for starters
Jc How much would a shop charge to fix it?
Would vary depending on the shop keep in mind the whole assembly is worth 400 to 600 bucks dealership was estimating 900 bucks for mine

I got a 2018 700R and I have the same problem. Switched it on and didn't hear the fuel pump!
How did you take the pump out the white thing?
At the bottom you will see some blue tabs once you remove those it should slide out
