After watching your videos, my work efficiency improved by 1000-fold. I can't thank God enough for introducing you to me. Being my teacher, you will always be in my prayers. Stay blessed! 💕
I am so envious of your rocks! In Florida, there are few and to buy them is very expensive. My boyfriend lives in Toronto and I tease him that he should bring a truck full of them and make a fortune! Your woods garden is lovely and I wish I could walk through it. Thanks again for another great, inspiring video!
Grass/weed mix works just fine for now, I just keep it mowed LOL. But eventually some nice irregular flagstone will get laid down. This was a very informative video, thanks for sharing.
Pinebark nuggets work well for paths in my garden. They don't break down quickly so I only need to refresh it every couple years. When they do break down, they enrich the soil and make it easier to pull weeds. It rained Monday so by Thursday pulling out weeds was relatively easy. In 8b Central Texas, our natural soil is caliche, which is mostly limestone. It turns into brick when it dries. Soil amendment is required if you want to grow something besides cactus. I think cactus can be lovely, but cactus are not friendly to humans.
Very nice and thank you . I tend to also use what I can get from the environment. Often its what I find when driving around, logs, timbers, etc. I do need to get some mulch though Thanks again
I have several shady paths and wood mulch has failed for me in the past. It either rots away or floats away in a heavy downpour. I have my own "ladies mower" with bagger, light weight, self-wheel drive and I will experiment with a lawn path among the ferns and hosta.

Perfect timing for this video! I'm creating a path in a woodland area of my property and I love the look of your log path.

Please do an update in a few months so we can see the garden paths at maturity.
😊
