It produced an official Grateful Dead Terrapin Station box set because it was so intense. I was dosed and ready for the Terrapin Station that was laid upon us. Look no further for a better example of the piece. I love chilling to this new video! Excellence all around.
Been thinking about it, best i can do for now is listen to my GD playlist or make a playlist in the right order of songs from a show yourself, would take a lot of time to do all new vids for a 3 hr show wish I could!
Like the writer of above, Terrapin Station means the world to me,- but this version, new to me, suffers like so much of my favorites live.... lumbering, contradictory bass, often chaotically missing the lilting rhythm , pulling apart the cadences. I love chaos and disunion, mainstays of the Dead, ..but not for this composition!
@@robertarthur887 I admit the original studio Terrapin is hard to beat. It certainly seems to have more “structure” and more of a “classical” vibe than most other Dead tunes. Particularly where the Dead reminds me more of Jazz, a “classical” type composition hits differently. I think if I recall correctly, the first live Terrapin is of special note as well..
Loved it you should've done the CGI at The Sphere in Vegas for The Boys there CGI Sucked at all there Shows you would've Rocked The Sphere with your CGI plus great pick for Terrapin but as GD History I would've went with the first Terrapin they ever played or the Iconic one at Hartford.
