🔴 LIVE: Best of Series 3 | Only Fools And Horses | BBC Comedy Greats 0843am 18.4.24 beware the box set rip off. i went out and thought i'd gotten myself the whole series via the BBC store... turns out their edition only contains first 7 series minus xmas episodes... yer best off aiming for the yellow packaged box set which includes all shows plus xmas specials etc etc etc.... the only shows i missed being the final xmas special and the nuclear bunker episode...
Absolutely perfect description of it, however your feeling shows like only fools, father Ted and for me the young ones give you a lovely secure feeling of nostalgia and Warmth that you need at times.
I often fall asleep at night listening to it, all the characters are absolute diamonds. Love Dave.. I mean Rodney getting instant promotion to chairman 😁
@@Notnow1 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 currently falling asleep every night to that very episode “homesick” What I love about that particular one is that it’s the only time Rodney asks Trigger why he calls him Dave! So funny and a great episode to fall asleep to, Friday the 14th is another great fall asleep to episode, I like that it’s them in a cottage in Cornwall with an escaped axe murderer loose. 🤗 👌🏼👌🏼 you know nothing awful is going to happen but its borderline spooky which makes it even more cosy.
@@samuraininjarockstar9355 All great shows and Father Ted in particular used to be my go to nighttime feel good show. The young ones was a classic of course. Glad there are people out there who understand what I mean. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I met Jim Broadbent several months ago on a train - he was more than happy for a selfie with a life long OFAH's fan. What a gent, what an actor, what a comedy. The best of the best.
You guys in UK have the funniest shows ever....I'm from US I have probably watched every episode 50 times have every CD and laugh just as hard as I did 1st time
Oy luv all this! I'm Scottish but lived in London for 25 years, I love it all. Now watching from Italy, it really takes me back, can't stop laughing.😂😂😂❤❤❤
Delboy and Rodney dressed as Batman and Robin running through the night time streets of London, was a scream. Especially with the background music playing as signature thw 1960s TV Batman programme.
Timeless comedy...I'm a massive OFaH fan, and to me its aged very well...still as funny as ever. A few years back I went to an OFaH bar in Spain; few beers with OFaH playing all day...bliss!
I love how Rodney tells Trigg how he actually looked it up on his passport and birth certificate as if he was atually starting to question if his name is in fact Rodney and not Dave hahaha.
I always had the idea since Rock & Chips that Freddy the Frog told Trigger that his name was Dave. And Trigger being as thick as he is, thinks Rodney is Dave because he looks like him.
Grandad always had the best lines… “Did he leave that Tenner” “They promised us home fit for hero’s, but all they gave us was hero’s fit for homes” “You know what son, in the last 1/2 hour you’ve done so much boot licking you better watch out you don’t come down with Cherry Blossom Poisoning” “Why what have you got a Wendy House” “I’m trying to get the Dukes of Hazzard” - while playing with a Microwave oven
@@matt1985matt Hi ✋🏻 I'm from Croatia ( Novi Marof ) 🇭🇷 I said lots of greetings and thank you for this video! The best series in history of mankind! 🙏🏻😍😍😍😍
What a brilliant craic tacking the piss of Irish but the man who write it was one of the best ever done one of my favourite ways trigger and grandad 🎉 Willie
Shame most of the punchlines were cut out. Rodney and the lawn mowers, Grandad up West with a bird named Camilla, Rodney and the water tank, Denzil's wife's canary... {:o:O:}
When I was a teenager Del looked like a bit of an herbert; older, chubby, naff haircut- but now when i watch them heading towards 60, I assume they have re-touched the videos, cos he now looks; young, slim, quite well dressed with a good head of hair. Funny that.
The problem with the first episode is that Trigger doesn’t even live on the estate he live the other side on the Nags Head and has absolutely no authority to nominate Dave in the first place.
The guy was happy to ignore that so Rodney would get elected and he could quit and, fortunately for theguy, there was no one to complain. Oh, except Rodders.
Nostalgia is a wonderful thing, but I think it's because life seemed slower and easier then. And of course people could take a joke without offense back then.😂
What is your favourite Only Fools And Horses moment?
Delboy through the bar is the obvious one, but Delboy trying to get Uncle Albert to act shocked at Rodney's 'indiscretion' is a brilliant scene.
all of them
Most of them but two really crack me up no matter how many times I seen them. Paulie wants a cracker and a touch of glass LOL
Too many to name 🥰👍

It gets better with age. A classic of British comedy.

The days when comedy used to be actually funny instead of heavily sensored and safe so to avoid upsetting anyone.
