- After discovering myself the 4th secret track in F-Zero 99, I heard this song and fell in love with it instantaneously. So here, I tried my best to transcribe the song by ear in FL Studio to make a "SNES version", one that could be played on an actual SNES. It's not perfect, but I like it enough to make it a video!
Enjoy this for now, and expect a Genesis cover sometime soon! (Hopefully I don't get DMCA'd by Nintendo because the song sounds TOO close.)
This cover was made in FL Studio using the C700 VST plugin. The audio FX was handled with Audacity, and the video was made using Corrscope.
This song is up on my SoundCloud! Here's a link to that:

I do not own the original song. I do, however, own this cover. If you'd like to use it, I don't mind, just please ask first and give credit where it's due.
Finally get to hear this jam uncompressed, this really could be Final Boss music where you race to the death in a Scorched Mute City!
A what if scenario where Deathborn succeeds in getting the championship belt and can rewrite the universe as he pleases. This is all the other F-Zero pilots taking a last stand against the end of the universe, with Black Shadow and his lackeys obviously excluded, though I guess Black Shadow already canonically dies.
That makes sense
It Kinda Did Happen In F-Zero GX With Captain Falcon Racing Deathborn. But, I See your point.
Having remade the theme with the instruments from the SNES version, it is like having made that same theme but in high quality, making it sound in HD
I hope Nintendo does more track mashups. These remixes are swesome
Omg if we get Super Mario Kart Crossover tracks with songs from the tracks using the F-Zero instruments/soundfont I go bonkers and a music-gasm lol.
@@brandonwilliams6119 I doubt it since SMK was a result of not being able to be as fast as F-Zero but SNES Rainbow Road is already a bounty unlock background so who knows
Other than the beginning part of the song being a bit high-pitched and an incorrect note played, very nice!
I was wondering when someone would do this, given the fuzzy quality of the actual song in FZ99.
I knew something was off on the opening piano chords, but the fuzzy quality made it really hard for me to figure out the chords being played!
Thanks for your comment! When I do a Genesis version, I'll try to fix that.
@@jtg55hm, I can hear it’s notes just fine on my airpods even without headphone accommodations
1:09 goes hard
This is amazing!! I'm glad someone is interested enough in recreating the song in sample/midi format
Yeah this was cool to run into when looking up this track. Nice work!
Cool one. Big Blue and Port Town will also fit perfectly in this mashup
Dude, that what i was thinking.
Big Town or Port Blue?
Port blue definitely. Big town sounds to goofy.
@@ewanmonty6227 Alright.👍
I still wanna get Sand Canyon or Red Ocean...
Red Sand?
Can't thank you enough for this.
Hell yeah!!
Did you ever consider doing ??? Track 1 (Death Wind X White Land I X White Land II}. Nice job on this transcription.
White Wind
Do you think this could be rearranged for SNES with only five channels? That's the max polyphony of vanilla track themes.
I was thinking about that the whole time I was making this cover, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it and still make the song sound like the original, so I just used all eight.
I'm sure someone smarter than me will figure that out, haha.
Can you do White Land + Death Wind?
I might
You forgot some background drums, but the rest is nice
The easiest track in the game + the hardest one
Do white wind
Pls do white wind.🥹🥹🥹
