It is funny that at first one would think they would not like Lady C much, but after getting to see more of her, I have to say I am absolutely delighted by her. She comes across as strong, funny, but also you sort of get to feel that she has a personal moral compass. And I like that.

As a woman of a certain age I certainly do not fade into anything. Simply by living longer Lady C and others like her have more lived experiences.
I love Lady C, she’s such a good person, being an authentic, honest person is very important to her - many people in her situation would’ve gone the other way and put on a facade - especially in the 60s & 70s!!!

I absolutely adore Lady C. I cannot imagine her childhood with her narcissistic mother and knowing that she was a girl, but raised as a boy. She is the epitome of style and grace and has lived a fabulous life. I've been a subscriber to her TH-cam channel for some time and I love to hear her stories.

There is a difference how Lady Colin Campbell says things and gets away with it because she says it very elegantly hence she is a different breed. I think if some women where to say what she says they would not get away with it and would be looked at as pushy so it is how you say it overall without sounding pushy or obnoxious

Kim Woodburn and Lady C are actually very similar, not just because they’re sharp-tongued but also because they are intelligent and honest!
Watching clips of her on im a celeb you would think Lady C is unreasonable, but if you actually watched the whole thing you can see that she didn’t start off rude. Some of the arguments she had in the jungle she was right to call her campmates out. It was easy to tell that Duncan Bannatyne and Tony Hadley judged her based on her wealth. They assumed she would be weak just because she was born rich, and thought that she was spoiled for not putting up with them. None of her campmates knew her life story, but many of her campmates (especially Duncan and Tony) assumed that because she was born into money she had an easy childhood. Tony said that Lady C had never been “put in her place” when she was young and basically implied she was spoiled, when in reality she had a very difficult childhood. A good childhood is not determined by wealth, and Lady C knew that. In my opinion, Duncan and Tony were the real snobs.

Love Lady C. I’m not quiet either and we’re a year apart.
Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. And she's referring to Jamie Lee Curtis. She was born as male but the condition causes testosterone to NOT be used (ie. androgen insensitivity) so that the tissues do not react to testosterone and no masculinisation occurs. Children are then raised female. Lady C being raised as a boy was odd because she had none of the male characteristics and genitalia. Apparently she had a series of deformities in the external genitalia that were only corrected at age 21. Hard to know, but the likelihood of fertility was very low, referencing her two sons. Whether Lady C also has AIS is unconfirmed but possible given the association she makes to JLE.

To be honest with you I am still confused as to what the deformity then was that lady Colin Campbell had ?
You say she did not have any male genitalia ... what can you explain to me then what the deformity was ?
@@NoOneHere2Day I believe Lady Colin Campbell and I did look it up ... the defect is where the labia are sort of fused together when they're born .
I believe on her TH-cam channel she touched on the subject briefly commenting on a female doctor who forcibly gave her male hormones - assuming testosterone. It was filmed a while back.
Whether you love her or hate her, one has to admire her strength.

I was born in 46 and I have never heard of this deformity.
Are you in the states there is a PBS episode about it and this doctor that was banned in Europe and the US. If you do a search you might find it and be able to watch it.

I don’t know where my head was when this interview was done.I was a fan very much of I’m A Celeb and Loose Women. I know that that fact is not really relevant. It’s my ‘back story’ yes I just smirked at myself at that one. 😏
So back to Lady C, what an absolutely amazing woman. Born with a defect she was brought up as a boy. When she said men did better back when she was born and the medical knowledge was much different from now, then she says it worked out better for her, if a baby girl was the gender chosen, surgery to correct it before she was born was not up to standard and would have not been beneficial. That’s how switched on that she is.

I know I sound really stupid but I still don't understand their for what was the deformity that lady Colin Campbell was born with as people are saying she was NOT born with a penis .

I think Lady C has CAIS.
Which means XY chromosomes, and i dont think she is female, chromosomally. Many CAIS people actually are raised as GIRLS but then at puberty they dont begin menstruating so if they dont already know about their condition, they soon shd. The condition is on a spectrum, but the chromosomes remain, XY, biologically male. The way hormones are supressed in them, means a more feminine appearance but overall i personally do think the majority are very clearly still male. Perhaps why her marriage was over so quickly

@gardensofthegods That doesn't mean that SHE was born with that defect. Back in the day, in some cases, a doctor could do you a favor by fudging a little on a diagnosis or defect, thereby making the case that you needed some type of plastic surgery. Yep, it's unethical, but it can happen.
I can't tell you how many women had nose jobs because they had supposedly broken their nose. Or were correcting a deviated septum. Didn't Michael Jackson have vitiligo ? Lol. Didn't explain him straightening his hair or trying to have Caucasian features. I think he just wanted to appear sort of white. Shoot, I've seen it happen in mental health where very wealthy people can get out of a case by pleading that they were absentminded due to extreme depression or dementia (that suddenly turns up when they're about to go to prison, lol.) In Lady C's case, probably all of the people who would come out against her would be dead now. Except for a sibling or two. And if she was raised in an uptight family, her siblings wouldn't know about this supposed "defect." She never told her husband about any of this going into the marriage. He found out later and divorced her. He calls her a liar to this day. She also acts very much like a queen. Real women don't tend to act like that. She's too over the top.
