Great video! Stumbled across these playsets on BBTS today and was hoping I'd find a nice in-depth review on 'em, great vid.
Super interesting that this company is out making new licensed Mighty Max sets: they seem have barely any attention over here in the U.S. so far, hoping more folks will hear about them and realize the line got revived. Relaly exciting for me as someone who's new to the toyline and doesn't have any vintage sets as of yet.

I recommend that you follow the PeariA Facebook page for more upto date info, they have plans for more playsets this year

Does anybody know if the new sets/figures' placement footprint work with the old actual MM figures/sets?

I finally had the chance to check today and can confirm these new ones are very fractionally larger. Vintage Mighty Max figures DONT lock into position as they're ever so slightly smaller. Hope this helps

Not sure PeariA actually had the licenses since they're rebranding it all Rover Robin and Mighty Hat. I am glad the comics are on the card back to build a new lore. I ordered some from BBTS today after seeing Pixel Dan discuss it. Glad to find you taking a deeper look. I love micro playsets.

When I spoke to the designer he said that it was the foreign licence/rights. I was aware that the idea was to move the story along to introduce Robin on new adventures. Max was lost in the portal via the hat set, maybe one day he'll return. (Guessing Mattel will do something with Max after they dropped the MUSCLE Mighty Max?)

@ukminifigurecollectors Mattel brought back Polly Pocket and I hoped Max was next. PeariA website now has an anti corporation section with Mighty Max stickers.

@@johnm.withersiv4352 I have to admit I had the very same thought, It was like the stars were finally aligning for it to happen. Polly Pockets were upscaled to, Which I'd be onboard with if they could kept faithful to the original Mighty Max history.
I haven't had much contact with Pearia since doing that video. My contact Chris, Keeps me upto date with all the new releases. I have plans to do the next two released sets (Crushes GingerBread Man and Kui Gan) at some point along with the variants.

Got both the normal ones yesterday with an English cartoon on the back! Looking forward to Warmonger, Sowcroc and Bloody Antlers (the last 2 are the size of a Doom Zone).

How are you finding them? Did you feel any nostalgia when opening them?

@@ukminifigurecollectors Yes, it was fun. And they did a good job on the cardback, that it's not clued on. Really looking forward to the new Doom Zones later this year!
The photo's on the website are to sharp of when you get the real thing in your hands! I still have 7 more MM to go to complete the old collection.

I loved the cartoon but, didn't care for the playsets. Had one and lost it, wish they would make 6 inch action figures based on the cartoon.

    • @ukminifigurecollectors

I've gotta be honest I've never seen the cartoon, the size of the playsets were the clincher for me, the fact the imagination ran wild in this little world

    • @CosmicRanger-xg7cz

@@ukminifigurecollectors It wasn't the playsets themselves, just the fact my parents didn't have the money to replace the one I lost. But, I'm collecting them now.

@@CosmicRanger-xg7cz Completely get that, Think most of my original ones were from swaps with my mates or from jumble sales. Even now I tend to stick to the smaller sets, Although my all time favourite is the Skull Dungeon.

Honestly, I'd probably grab a 6" Mighty Max in the scale of GI Joe Classifieds and what not, but I do love that mini form factor.
