Crete - Balos Lagoon / Balos Beach

End of April 2021: Off to Balos!
After an incredibly bumpy drive over a gravel road, after 20 minutes we reach the parking lot of the famous Balos lagoon in the north-west of Crete.
A beautiful hiking trail, surrounded by pure nature, leads us down to the beach.
The view from above of the lagoon is breathtaking!

This was end of April, but during COVID, that's why it's almost empty. Generally only during winter would be like that as well, high season it's always crowded
