You parked on my private Parking space! I used that about 2 months of my live in the 1970ties.
It was a paradise and i had a good time there, even the beach alone for more than a week .
Its a nightmare to see what it is today.
I am so happy to still know paradises like that today but its a long trip to go there...

I stayed in Crete for many months in the 70's. Life was different back then. The memories I have from that time are my most cherished. Thank you for these wonderful Super 8 clips.

was in souda bay (USN) 1978 to 1980 - Had a VW Van too - traveled the entire island many times. great memories back then.

Thank you for uploading those beautifull videos, they are historic, showing how places were in the '70s. Few films were taken then, and offer a unique look before globalisation took over the whole world...

my family go camping from 1983-1993 here...isolation with a dacia and camp, water from 30km....

The most beautiful beaches of whole island are Balos and Falasarna.Elafonissi beach is smaller copya of Balos.
