@@Darthborg it's a trend to have a human as a fake king on Olivia's parties. Several days the picked person is treated wonderfully, all their desires met (except for quitting the game ofc). And on the final day, Olivia kills them before all vampire guests. Here we see two humans slayed for the entertainment, and yes, words said by the fake bride are kinda tricking for the sake of the twist at the end and to surprise those who haven't read the lore
Is it just me, or is this also a remarkable example of the voice actress. At the beginning, you seem to genuinely think it is the bride's inner monolog: sweet, soft spoken, and innocent sounding. But as the speech progresses, the voice changes, becoming more authoritative as she offers a toast. And then, towards the end, the voice (obviously modified) shows the characters ambition, desire for power, and command of her position as queen.
Idk, I just thought that the voice actress did a noteworthy job!

There is a CG-animated Netflix show coming out in later half of 2022.
It was supposed to be directed by the Russo brothers (the guys who worked on Infinity War) but they left die to creative differences about how a trading card game should be adapted.
It was, however, picked up by Jeff Kline who has worked on several animated series. He will be working with co-producer Steve Melching, who has previously written for Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Batman.
I’m inclined to remain cautiously optimistic.

Arcane was simply Riot saying, here is a love letter to the lovers of the lore. Not very difficult to make something good when you do it yourself with your own animation studio and you wrote the lore and notes yourself, instead of adaptating an old IP

Watching this over a few times you also notice how frightened and unhappy the bride is where as the FIRST time you watch she just seems like a nervous blushing bride. Great detailing on the expressions and faces just wow

I do genuinly hate Game Trailer's like this. I think it's excusable with Magic, as it's a card game, and they are using the video's to push the narrative forward... but it still feels pretty scummy... If only that where the only scummy thing WotC was guilty of, of late, we'd be able to count ourselves lucky.

I got this as an ad on another video and I was *blown away.* I don’t know the first thing about Magic, but I had to find this video. Absolutely stellar video, it’s crazy to me that this isn’t live action. It just looks *that* good. Technology really has come a long way to be able to make something this lifelike. Maybe making this was actually easier than I think, but still. Hats off too everyone involved in making this, it’s gorgeous.

Otherwise you have to dig for online short stories but they are rarely a good read.

I love the fact that only after watching the trailer for a second time do you start to notice the fear in the couples eyes as they get dolled up for their unfortunate demise. The sudden shift in the woman's voice as right before the large doors open as well as the darker tone the background music takes as the "bride" walks down the isle is just *cheif's kiss*. It's wonderful little details like that that make the whole trailer so interesting!

Magic: The Gathering cinematic get some much better ever time and I’m still rewatching this a year later. It’s beautiful. Also best color combos as far as looks go in magic. Black white and red.

I don’t know anything about this, got this video as an ad and its so good!? There was a weird uneasy vibe present since the beginning that didn’t “fit” with the whole getting ready for your wedding vibe that really peaked my interest. Some movements looked forced, harsh. Then the bride comes in and she looks scared, the crown with masks and then I notice their red eyes. And wizards! They trap and move them and i just assume “weird custom but maybe its normal in that kingdom?” But then everything starts to go south, the voice I suddenly realize is evil and oh dear SHE KILLS THEM!

Did anyone notice the bride and groom were laying on a fountain when she killed them? That's where they will be drained of blood so that the blood will float down the fountain for everyone to fill their cup.
The set also has an artifact "blood fountain" which depicts the exanguination which follows this scene.

I mean the Chandra series has been in development hell forever. They made her relationship with Nissa "just a phase" so it could be marketed in China, which didn't go over well

I wasn't against Chandra's relationship from Chandra's perspective; but when you look at Nissa's perspective from a pre-retcon ideology on elven superiority...
(I personally think they devalued Nissa as a whole by doing that retcon. She would have grown better as a character if she eventually broke down that superiority complex.)

This gave me chills. I love it. I'm ok with not having trailers each set so long as they occasionally make awesome appearances like this. Really sets the stage.
So Olivia, it was VERY kind of you to bring all the most powerful vampires of Innistrad into a single place. I'm sure they'll be just as many of you at the end of the wedding. lol

I saw this as an ad on a different video first. I watched it all the way to the end because of how stunning the animation was. And that voice acting... remarkable! I got hyped because in my mind, this was clearly some new exciting story based game or something. I'll admit I was dissapointed when I found out what the game actually was though, oof. Sorry, just not the type of thing I'd usually invest my time in.
But seriosly, I'd love to have it as a full feature CGI film or a proprer video game. Really great job on this trailer. Very atmospheric.

Seems a bit conceptually confused then. The point of the wedding in Crimson Vow was to secure Olivia Voldarens power the red wedding from got was a double cross.
Crimson Vow isn’t like the Red Wedding at all if you followed the lore.
The Red Wedding was done due to betrayal and it involved a complete lack of respect for the other Houses tradition.
This trailer looks and felt amazing! Olivia’s design honestly gave me chills down my spine.
As someone who has absolutely no interest in card games of this kind, I thought it was a shame that this amazing trailer was about a card game and not a computer game. A computer game with such cutscenes (and otherwise good story and gameplay) is something I would buy immediately. But not the cards.

When The War of The Spark video was released it made me get super into the lore of MTG. I was obsessed for a while 😅 I still don’t fully understand everything, but I’m hoping there will be a movie adaption soon. I’m really looking forward too seeing more of this enthralling beautiful animation.
