I worked at Vans and it was a part of the dress code there! I also had an employee discount at the time and got free shoes for reaching goals and winning contests etc.
The Old Skools fit bigger on my feet than the slip ons. But it also just really depends on the materials used. There are so many such as canvas, leather, etc. I always just try them on just to be safe bc they all fit me different!
Hey! ❤️ So with my experience I haven’t had them for too long but from what I hear and have seen they do lose color a little bit! Remember to NOT put them in the wash, Vans shoes aren’t made for that 😅 ! But over a long period of time they start to fade just a liiitle bit! The more you have to clean them the quicker they can fade! I just put the protective spray Vans sells and that helps a lot! At first you’ll mostly see the suede heel and toe compartments of the shoe start to gain a weird color when the shoes get dirty! I’ve heard the color of the Ochre authentics lasts longer and have a better look over time bc that style shoe doesn’t have suede 🤔! Hope that helps!!! 🤗
