    Hi guys absolutely love love love your videos 🤩🤩 just wanted to mention about your comments about Yardie Creek crossing!!! 30 years in WA and North West I can assure you these conditions change drastically within seasons!!! Cyclones over the years have made it totally impassable or browsable and as recently up to 3 years ago, that's right, totally uncrossable!! We managed to go across 2 years ago and again last year! Just saying that in The Pilbara and The Kimberley conditions can alter extremely over a couple of years. Watch all your stuff and keep up the great work 🤩🤩 I love that you both don't over talk the talk 😀 😁

    Excellent video as always guys!! We love Bullara Station, we were there in 2015 and again in 2018! During our May 2018 visit it absolutely bucketed down with rain, it was the first decent drop that the station had had in over 4 years! Did delay our departure by a couple of days due to flooded roads, but it was an amazing experience and we got to celebrate with the Station owners and staff!! 👍

    So sad you didn't see the Black faced Wallabies when doing Mandu Mandu Gorge. It's best to do this walk early in the morning when the wallabies all come out from their apartment blocks, (holes in the cliff faces) to bask in the morning sun. Amazing how many of them there are.

    Roast lamb...after petting them, you eat them - you monsters! Just kidding...sounds like a nice relaxing time at Bullara. Underwhelming experiences are part of the package. Your underwater shots are always quite brilliant. I remember my last days in my 20's, it was over 30 years ago! See you next time legends.

    Yardie creek rarely dry like your experience. My last trip last year at low tide was 700mm to cross... just made it with the camper.
    If you keep going down that track awesome camping and snorkelling spots away from the tourist

    Sparkies, where did your dog stay when you visited the National Park please ? Thinking of staying at Yardie and want to see the national park surrounding, we have a dog too and thinking we weren’t allowed to do this. 🍻

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because you're close to exmouth, theres plenty of dog sitters if you felt comfortable. Otherwise make some friends like we did who will trade doggy day care.

    First time I went to Yardie Creek (1997) I had to rescue some tourists who had their Landcruiser bogged to the axles in soft sand. Last time (2015) I was thinking of a drive south but at the creek I didnt even bother walking to find a crossing as it was clearly way too deep. The visitor centre also had footage of some clown losing his nearly new 'Cruiser in the water

    Hey guys!! So glad you’re loving our wonderful state, I love your footage! But please, to anyone planning to go in the future- don’t go into the caves!! It’ll take emergency services at least 2hrs to get to that cave if anything happens and up to 12hrs to get someone out!! And that doesn’t count getting them to the hospital after. They’re also extremely delicate environments and going into them often can disturb anything living in there, and they’re usually of cultural significance to the traditional land owners- even if you personally are very careful and don’t harm anything, people coming after you could do something stupid, so please don’t go into caves without getting the proper permits xxx

    Some hidden gems need to stay hidden...Wont be long and that cave will be shut down to everyone

    • @Sparkysontheloose
      @Sparkysontheloose  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wont be long till a developer builds on top of it or it gets turned into a paid tourist attraction. Best people see it before than.

    • @danielcorletto9726

      Sparkys on the loose I’m all for everyone experiencing places, I just think some special attractions should be kept quiet so they don’t get exploited, as I’m sure you are aware, there’s not many of them left in our country.
