The view while both of you sitting in the sand enjoy an beer and the sunset is out of this world the water is so clear with all kinds of small fish wow wow and the stingray in the end an Epic episode greetings from South Africa
Terrific video, if you like Calamari try this recipe: 50/50 lemon pepper & curry powder, then add to Panko bread crumbs. Put your calamari into a beaten egg or two depending how much you have. Hot oil in a wok, add the calamari one piece at a time as you go round the circle of the wok. By the time you get the last one in the first is ready to eat. Try it, we do it every Christmas as an entree.
Spent nine months at the Harold E. Holt US Naval Communications Station - Exmouth Western Australia. Interesting place, greatbeaches, great diving - love the beer, be safe, stay healthy.
Hi guys, I camped behind you at t the RAC campsite in the teardrop camper, just stumbled across you you tube blog, looks great and ill be following you two. Happy traveling. Jim & Lynette
"Megan-tron" I like that. 😁 The turtles seeing them naturally like that is mesmerising. Another fantastics episode. 👍 Regarding canyon vs gorge, in terms of the proportions, a canyon is considered larger than a gorge. They are both deep valleys, but a canyon is often wider compared to a gorge. The term gorge is at times used to describe ravines.
Always freeze squid or cuttlefish before cooking. Makes it far more tender when you cook it. I always freeze overnight then thaw out in milk the enzymes help tenderise also.
16:03 I’m probably a little late for your offer, that being said Thankyou for taking the time to explain your sponsor SKILLSHARE. Most people on TH-cam don’t give an explanation about what their sponsors offer, and in that case I’m generally not interested in finding out. But you explained it beautifully and it got me interested, I am starting out in photography, and saw via your information that they have a DLSR course! So I’m very interested to give that a go, and check out some more!
Thanks so much for the feedback Chris! This was our first ever sponsored video so that is really good to know! Skillshare really is a great platform and we have learned so much from it.
Great vid guys, just a handy hint for you Megan, it looked like your goggles fogged up, just spit inside the lenses and rub it around with finger then rinse it out before putting them on. 👍
There's a few stealthy's on Charles Knife, better than spending $60.00 in Exmouth. We're completely self contained in a motorhome so can free camp or national parks. Enjoyed your podcasts.
Here you go.....In terms of the proportions of the two, a canyon is considered larger than a gorge. They are both deep valleys, but a canyon is often wider compared to a gorge. The term gorge is at times used to describe ravines which are narrower than canyons. ... Often, gorges are associated with rivers while canyons are not
@Jack & Megan what beach to see the turtles, we are planning to be in Exmouth end of Jan to early Feb.. may I also ask do you need a 4wd to explore Cape range and to go to Mesa Beach? And how many days should we allow to explore Cape range? Many thanks in advance.
ohhhh guys!!! I just found your channel, epic content and you two are amazing in front of the camera. I just loved watching. The WA Coast is amazing, I love my backyard. I can't wait to watch more of your adventures. One Life, One Search, Shane
Another amazing vid guys! We've been following since the start of the year. The filming and editing skills are getting so good! Jack, we need to know why you don't swim??? It's killed us since we first realised Megan is always swimming alone - WHY!?!?
Thanks for following along guys! And thanks for the feedback 😊 I do swim just had some bad experiences when I was younger and still a little scared to jump in but working on it! 😂
Wow, I was lucky enough to get up to Exmouth for a 4 day trip. Stayed with friends at Mesa Campground over new years and absolutely fell in love with that place. Never wanted to leave it and I'm now counting down the days till I graduate and can head back up their with my best mates! Just found your channel, you got a subscriber from me!
Hi J & M, just discovered your channel. Was in Exmouth 7 days ago and loved the oysters on the breakwater. Had an extra 7days there in isolation with Covid, but what the hell, the weather was sublime and the Cape Range blew us away. The scale of the ravines was fabulous.
also I have another question.. if you guys didn't have a rear bar swing away tyre carrier. where would you put your gas bottle and Jerry's of water / fuel ? the roof?? I don't have that much realestate left up there with my setup
Awesome episode. Seeing the turtles like that would be such a great memory to have. Great snorkeling footage!! I'm not sure about the squid & watermelon together bit!🤢 Catch you next vid!👍
hey guys, great vid, love squid aka calamari - so jealous, straight from the water into your belly yummmmm you may not have seen it but I mentioned in a previous vid that you need to fit a switch to link the aux battery so you don't need to run that dodgy piece of wire to start the engine when the main battery is flat.
Literally just came back from a trip to Exmouth and Bullara a few days ago! What beach were those turtles at? Can't believe we didn't go there! Great video guys 😊
Thanks for watching Jabe! There is a point of interest pin on wiki camps called turtle resting area, if you're on your way out of Cape Range it's about 5-10 minutes after Yardie Homestead. Was so amazing to see!
hi excellent , a quick tip on your mask , a little bit of spit rub it around on the interior lens and rinse in the sea water will prevent them from fogging up
Hey mega-trim- jack love your video’s look forward to you each week?can tell us is that a rooftop tent or just a pop up room?and are you going to be at this year’s 4wd and adventure show?many thanks?
Hey Russell thanks for watching! We did a roof conversion on the troopy with an alu-cab tent! Has been the best mod to the car 🙌🏼 we aren't attending as creators but are definitely keen to go for a look ourselves considering we'll be in Perth when it's on!
Thanks so much guys, when I saw your petrol guage Jack, I was sure you wouldn't make it to a petrol pump, how far did you have to go? You were so lucky. ⛽⛽⛽. turtles were unreal, so close and so many. 🐢🐢🐢🐢. The snorkeling, footage was so good Megan and the water was so clear. 🐡🐠🐟. Well done guys. ❤🇦🇺🦘
Hey mate sorry we missed this comment! The beach was just called the turtle resting area near the entrance to the Cape Range national park. There is a point of interest pin for it on wikicamps! 😊
You need to find out WHY YOUR STARTER battery was flat, some thing is not working, and it will cost you so.e thing some where, check earth straps, alternater, solar input, to start with, watch your fridges and freezers, be on guard
I think it happened when I ran the compressor of the starter battery and forgot to run the car at the same time.... other than that I can’t figure out why else it could have happened. The battery is about 2.5 years old.
@@itsJackandMegan yeah I was wondering the same.. you need a link switch .. flick the switch in an emergency and can allow the other battery to start the car .. better than a wire .. can Handel the amperage required
It’s only taken me 47 years and Jack to realize that not everyone needs to enjoy swimming in lakes / rivers / oceans! I find it awkward, somewhat inconvenient and a bit scary! Jack?

Thanks for that mate we did a little research after and it all makes sense now 😂 the turtles are amazing hey!
also you should get some braid on that fishing rod reel and then just use a clip to the squid jig .. you can use leader but not really needed ..
Yeah I gotta get a proper setup hey!
Always freeze squid or cuttlefish before cooking. Makes it far more tender when you cook it.

Thanks Rick this is exactly what Megans Mum said when we were chatting with her very interesting!
@@itsJackandMegan I learned something also as I thought a gorge was more of a dead end. One way in and out. I was never good at geography 😂
