It's actually quite easy. He can compare it to other devices if with the same usage pattern (for example heavy usage with most -- if not all -- the features are turned on), how fast the battery drains, especially in a brand-new condition. Or even on its own. If it fits the manufacturer's claims, then it's obviously good battery life. If not, it depends if it lasts longer or less than on paper. Obviously, with time, these observations can change, but for a first look, 3 days is not that bad.
I’m disappointed, amazfit should let Bip line with “always on display” feature (like bip & bip s). IMHO for me watch main function is to see a time and it’s should show continuously (always on) , that’s why i love my previous BIP ( BIp & BIP s ) & Neo

No always on display no deal. I'm about to buy another original BIP to replace my beaten up one. I want 20 days plus of battery and always on display. Original BIP + BIPOS = best long battery smartwatch ever. Shame that companies with lots of money wont provide something better after all these years since the original BIP launch. It finally starting falling apart on me this week and when I went to Amazon to buy a new one it prompted me to buy the newer version. The Bip U. Yours is the first review I found and I am so glad I watched it. The lack of an always on screen really is a deal breaker for me. I want to be able to just glance at my wrist when I want to know the time and not have to hit ant buttons or anything. So I think I'll probably just get another Bip. Though maybe I will look into this Bip S.
I am also using it but keeping all health tracking enabled the battery os hardly going for 3 to 4 days max. I don't think it will last for 7 days as you said.

As per their suggestions when all day HR monitoring or stress monitoring is disabled and watch is disconnected with phone then battery will las long. But yesterday got an update let's see. Can you test connectivity as well? I have the original BIP and it is sooooo annoying because the bluetooth keeps disconnecting. My phone has to be within 1.5m range or it disconnects, so it's pretty much useless for my sleep tracking.
Does it support Japanese characters? I had the Amazfit Pace and it did, but my father got the Amazfit GTR and it couldn't render any Japanese characters. Also, their website seems to have no info about this. Thanks!

It really depends on your budget buddy. As for me personally, I'm still using the GTS 2 even though the battery is crap. I just love the super smooth display. But other devices such as the Mi Band 5, BIP U, and even the year old GTS are still decent smartwatches.

Yep. The BIP U introduces a new UI, added SpO2, "more" activities, stress tracking, etc.
I will stay with my Bip. Bip and Bip S are special because of huge stanby and reflective screen. Without it sorry it is not a Bip!!
