- FIFA 22 Not Opening when clicking on Play,FIFA 22: Fix Nothing happens when hit on play
Step 1) Allow the game exe to your antivirus program or windows security or disable controlled folder access while playing the game
Step 2) Change DirectX_Select Value from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0
Step 3) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 4) Run the game as an administrator
Step 5) Perform cleanboot, Disable overlay also close all other overlay application, close all the overclocking application, close all the background apps
Step 6) Repair or verify the game files

Add fifaconfig.exe to the controlled Folder Access
If installed in C drive: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 22\FIFASetup and add fifaconfig.exe file to controlled Folder Access file as shown in the step 1 of the video
If installed in D drive: D:\Games\FIFA 22\FIFASetup and add fifaconfig.exe file to controlled Folder Access file as shown in the step 1 of the video
When it's repairing the files.
Does it repair all this files? Meaning it's like redownloading the whole 43gb?

Eventually, a video that helps me, I downloaded FIFA 2 into my D folder, different from my windows folder, it worked fine yesterday, but not today, so tried launching FIFA, but the menu screen would only pop up again, then I changed Direct X from 0 to 1, then tried launching the game and it worked, hopefully it will continue working. Thanks! The Direct X fix did the trick for me! I was so freakin' sad because I spent a lot of money on this game only to find out that it it won't launch. I tried everything and I almost gave up until I saw this easy fix. Thanks again. Cheers!

If Origin is running, close it by clicking Origin in the menu bar then Exit. ...
Hold the Windows key + R.
In the command box that opens, type %ProgramData%/Origin then click OK.
Delete all the files and folders inside it except for LocalContent. ...(dont delete Local content)
Hold the Windows key + R again.

Just change its installed drive to another drive… that fix worked for me
Just fixed it by myself somehow. Installed ea manager or something logged in then left it and uninstalled logged in origin again and it worked

Solved: Moved my game from hdd to my ssd(where windows file are) then verified game origin and it downloades around 5gb and it works now

My sons is exactly the same on his xbox one. Press A to start and nothing happens. Not happy as i payed for the ultimate edition. The 10 hour early access wouldn't work either but when he logs his account onto my xbox ot works fine.
