We took a guys trip to Branson and got to play Buffalo ridge.... Absolutely beautiful course some of the best greens I've ever played on. Big Cedar lodge is a grown man's playground
Thank you for shining a light on this beautiful part of the country. My buddies and I have been doing a golf trip to Branson ever since John Daly had his course there! Which was subsequently purchased by C&C to make Ozarks. You do not need to stay at Big Cedar to play those courses. Thanks again!
Group of us go for a trip to Big Cedar once a year, the Gary Player Par 3 course Mountain Top is a BLAST with a group of guys. They let us play as a larger group as long as we keep up and it is some of the best banter and fun you can have golfing with your buddies. Super underrated golf location with the quality and conditions coupled with the variety of architects. If you stayed long enough (and have some cash) you could play Fazio, Coore & Crenshaw, Gary Player, Tiger Woods, Tom Watson (putting course), and Jack Nicklaus.
I am so glad you guys made it to Branson! This course is on my bucket list since my dad still lives in mid-Missouri, roughly 2-3 hours away from this place. The crazy thing is every course is rated well, so you can't go wrong picking any course if you only have 1 day down there.
Got a chance to play Ozarks National and Payne’s Valley just a couple of weeks ago. Both fantastic. Ozarks seemed a bit tougher to me, but Payne’s had the wow factor. Great video!
If you guys ever come back to the area to play more, or have dinner with the raccoon, try to do it during the Price Cutter Invitational in Springfield. Hit up a KFT event at one of the best courses (probably THE best course) in Springfield and then play a little in Springfield or Branson. Cheers!
I played here and Payne’s Valley in Oct last year and this seems like a different course than what I saw. It felt dead, abandoned, and not maintained. Maybe I need to give it a second chance.
Such a fun track- great for wolf because there are some birdies out there- especially on the front. Should also be noted, Big Cedar does a break in pricing if you play both Ozarks National and Mountain Top in one day.
You were THAT CLOSE to Tiger's new course (Payne's Valley) and you didn't play it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????????????????????? I'm low-key offended. ;)
Played it and Payne's Valley about a month ago. Really not a fan of Ozarks National at all. Very underwhelming compared to Payne's Valley and there's like 4 tee shots that are blind into heavily sloped fairways. If you are a long hitter and use the line they tell you, you will go off the edge. Blind shots like that are fine for a club course, but not a destination course where most people will be playing it one time and aren't going to know the lines to take. I'd recommend Buffalo Ridge over ON.
DJ Pie is a supers wet dream. Just scrapes it off the turf every time leavin no trace.
Or does he thin it every time?

Randy's approach to golf is one that we should all strive to achieve. "I'm kinda porked right here. What an honor!"
Dj expressed himself so well in this episode love his takes, and that cinematography is sick. Looking forward to the live pod tonight

Best course of the bunch, and it's not close!

Need to make a trip out here soon, esp with Payne's Valley added to the repertoire. Great work here.
Heading to Big Cedar Lodge in less than two weeks. Playing Ozarks National twice on day 2!

Gotta head to Pine Dunes in Frankston, TX and do a Crash Course. Won't disappoint.
Great video and the course looked amazing

So much good golf outside of the St. Louis area and down south near the ozarks
Great video, where's the link to the Randy video you mentioned at the end?
Yall need to go play Mystic Creek in El Dorado, AR.
That looks really amazing
It does for sure. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
I'd play here. Especially dig the flag of Paraguay on every green.
Looks like a fantastic course. Did you guys play the others as well? Thanks for the great content.

God damn I love me a public course. Do you have to stay at Big Cedar Lodge to play there?
Nope, you can play any of the courses at Big Cedar (5) without staying.
Nope! You can just book tee times at any of these courses.
is this River mountain?
Frank better make an appearance somewhere in these recaps!
Did Randy make a video on Payne's Valley? I'm not finding it...
Premiered yesterday

With all due respect, Buffalo Ridge isn't target golf. While it's good challenge, it's pretty friendly if you play sensibly.
